"Great Boondocking"

This is my second time staying here. High desert environment along Birch Creek. Quiet and sites are well off the highway on BLM land. This is boondock territory although there are some pitt toilets near the northern sections. This is a large area... Read more

"Nice, peaceful campground on a river"

Stayed here several nights while supporting a Ike on the PCT. Not far from Sonora Pass and on Hwy 108 off of Hwy 395 between Bridgeport and Walker. There are 17 campsites here and limited to smaller trailers and tent camping. My trailer was 24’... Read more

"Crowded, loud, tight, a zoo"

It was July and busy. The place was busy and loud, campsites were smashed together so the only views were of RVs parked on the other three sides. The bathrooms were dirty and very busy. On the positive side, the check-in staff was pleasant and... Read more

"Full-time Econo Trailer Park"

Found online while moving north in support of someone hiking the Pacific Crest Trail as Santa Rosa Summit. They had an RV dump site ($10) so called ahead to confirm so went ahead and booked a spot for the night ($25 including dump). There were no... Read more
