We had a short but very pleasant stay at The Sanddollar RV resort. The location was great! The waterfront is just steps away and there are a few restaurants and bars less than a mile away. We walked to Lulu’s bar and Hu Dat restaurant. We had a blast at Lulu’s and a great meal at Hu Dat. The pool at the Sanddollar looked nice but was to chilly...

We stopped here after leaving Big Bend on our way to Quadalupe Mountain NP in January. We only planned on staying 2 nights, but it turned into 4. Would love to go back one day. It’s a few miles off the main road, but worth it. So quiet.

They upcharge $3 per night for Thousand Trails members, for 50 amp electricity. Being winter, there were very few people in the park. We were one of only three RVs in A loop the whole two weeks we were there....

The hosts Debbie and Kurt were very hospitable and even provided us a welcome gift food package . We took advantage of its location by going to Gavelston...
