“The BEST Campsite View We've Ever Had!!”

Reviewed Nov 09, 2018

Overall Rating

Just WOW! My husband and I are still dreaming of the views from this campsite months after staying there (July 2018). We first drove into the Lower Teton View camping area and questioned whether we should continue to Upper Teton View with our 28ft travel trailer. We finally decided to unhitch and assess the road and the spots av... more

We spent one night here and enjoyed the wonderful view of the Teton Range and the valley below with the river meandering through. The road going up the last hill is a bit rough, but go slow and you'll make it. We did in our 27 ft Class C motorhome.

“All-time great camping, with million dollar views of the Tetons close to all the action”

Reviewed Oct 04, 2018

Overall Rating

Camping in Bridger-Teton NF (for free, no less) offers views of the Tetons that are different and more breathtaking every day, from morning alpenglow to dramatic sunsets. One of my pet peeves is campgrounds in great parks that are tucked away out of sight, so while they might be located in a cool national or state park the campgrounds ... more

“So beautiful!”

Reviewed Sep 20, 2018

Would highly recommend, and would definitely come back! We arrived in our van at about 7pm and it was pretty full but we squeezed in after a fellow camper said we could. It wasn’t that loud considering. Most people in prime spots left at about 10am so arrive earlier for the sweet sunset view.

The road off the main highway is rough and uneasy being we were in a Class C. Slow and easy and we made it to the top. There are no amenities of any source being Forestry Land but it is free and has a million day view. The area is busy on weekends but well worth the view. There are some bugs/flys but they are gone by evening. The view ... more

Very heavily used area. Crowded site with no toilets or services. Flies and mosquitoes are thick. No quiet time. Other campers run generators and are rude and noisy. Road is very rough and hard on larger RVs and small cars.

Camped here for 3 (or maybe 4?) nights in July. Loved loved loved it!
Not difficult at all to get to for our 4x4 truck. Met some really awesome people, and the location (how near it is to the park, and the view itself) can't be beat. A bit smoky due to recent fires. Just show up and pick out a space.

The road up was one lane and more rough th... more
