Gorgeous surroundings. Very clean park. Spacious sites, quiet at night. Great hiking trails. Electric only at sites. Potable water and dump available. Mule deer wandering through campground.

Great campground. Spacious and what a beautiful surrounding. Your in the park so access to everything is great. Electric only but there is a dump station and water to refill your rig. Rode our bikes from the campground to the end of Zion Canyon as a beautiful ride. Did some hiking right out of the campground as well.

We stayed here after visiting for the day. Wish we could have stayed longer. Bike trails nearby to ride on and you can even take the bridge to walk over to Zion Brewery. Busy but quiet. Got a few local channels, and it was easy to dump and fill.

Had read all the great reviews and expected more. Zion in December is still very busy with campers and tourists everywhere. Our loop restroom was closed for season and the one available was disgusting. Didn’t see any staff working on Sunday and skeleton crew Monday. Sites are generally well kept and not cramped.

We stayed here during Thanksgiving week. The campground was full, but there were COVID restrictions in place. We stayed in the B-loop. I would recommend picking a campsite in the outer ring; the ones in the middle like ours had neighbors right in the back of the campsite. For us, that takes away the attraction of staying inside the National Park; we like the natural setting, at least in the back of our campsite. There was wildlife everywhere, lots of deer walking through the campground. The restrooms are nice and clean. All campsites have electricity, but no water. There is a spigot outside of the restroom area for filling water. Many people had water jerrycans that they were filling and carrying back to their RVs.
For activities, two hiking trails start near this campground, which is very convenient. One of them, Parus Trail, even allow dogs, so we took ours with us. It was a nice easy paved trail alongside the river. The other one is Watchman Trail, but it doesn't allow dogs. Most attractions are on the Canyon Scenic Route, and you need to take the shuttle for that. These days you need to get the shuttle tickets online in advance. One can also drive to Mt. Carmel Scenic route and go through the tunnel, which is an exciting experience. We did this drive on our way to Bryce Canyon NP; we made a day trip there.

If you visit the park, Angels Landing hike is life changing. Take a lunch and enjoy. It's a challenging hike but in the top five on my life experiences. I did the hike with my 9 and 11 year old sons in tow. Checkerboard Mesa is also fine to hike on.

You can get water at several spigots nearby but you either have to drive/tow your rig to one or carry water in a container back and forth and we saw several people doing that. We can carry 30 gallons of fresh water, so it was not an issue for us. If you can get a spot here, we highly recommend it.

Due to availability, we split our stay between C Loop and A Loop. At A Loop we heard considerable noise from town across the river, specifically a live band playing until 9pm. While the music was fine, noises and lights from the city wasn't really what we wanted to hear when trying to get outside and disconnect. I would recommend avoiding any loop near the river.

The campground has good shade and is surrounded by beautiful Zion mountains. Be sure to keep you're food put away or the aggressive squirrels will get to it immediately. They have no fear, I would guess too many people think it's cute to feed them.
We rode our bikes to the trails we wanted to hike. It feels very safe, the shuttle buses will not pass you until you stop to the side for them. There's hardly any other traffic. So consider bringing or renting bikes to get around.
