The sites are a little close but it wasn’t bad.

Very peaceful place to stay. There were around 10-20 campers here during our stay. Plenty of spots and great views. We only went up the road from Hwy 9 about a mile and turned into the BMX track area. Highly recommend if you are visiting Zion. Only a 24 minute drive away.

I arrived late afternoon a Thursday and the place was mostly full. Had a campground feel to it. I did find a spot that was fairly level and it was quiet at night. Road getting in had deep ruts from previous wet times. I won’t want to be here when it rains. Looks like the road gets very “slimey”.

I arrived midday and found a nice spot near the creek that required minimal leveling. There were some ruts I the road and muddy areas caused by the recent rains and snow. It was not crowded, plenty of space, and quiet. It would have been a great place for stargazing if it hadn’t been cloudy. There are no bathrooms, no potable water, no tables, no fire rings, just boondocking. The water in the creek was murky and brown. AT&T Cell service was great. I stayed 2 nights and moved out before the predicted rain came as it was evident that the place would turn into a red, muddy mess. There was a gravel BMX bike parking lot on the way in that several people were using to boondock that was not as muddy. This location is about 15 minutes from Zion NP. The park was busy and I opted to park in the town of Silverdale ($20) and ride the free bus to the Zion Visitor Center and then ride the free Canyon Shuttle for a first look. If you’re visiting the park go early. The town shuttle starts at 8 AM. It starts getting crazy crowded any later in the morning.

We read the reviews here and decided to give it a try. Found a great spot right on the river. We have 27 Ft
TT. It was quiet at night. Great spot for going into Zion. We were close to grocery and laundry in near by Hurricane.

I wanted to stay here for the weekend but I had zero signal with Verizon. Sometimes it would go to one bar and I could text but I could barely make a call.
Creek area was packed and no parking there so I parked In The parking lot across the street. With a 32 ft class c, there was only one way into the lot because the other side was too steep. This area is tough for vehicles with low clearance like mine. I moved down to Hurricane Cliffs BLM area and that had signal and easier access for my low clearance rig.
Hope this helps someone!!

We arrived on 05/05/22 at 4PM and found it to be halfway full. We picked the second spot you see coming in since we didn’t trust driving on the sandy part of the road. This is a nice little place the views are gorgeous and the creek is relaxing (we could hear it from where we were parked). I highly recommend anyone with a big rig to scout out the area first we saw two different occasions of some big rigs trying to get in and having to back out. Also, if you plan to drive through the creek be sure you have high clearance we can’t count how many times we hear people bottoming out. There is a sign that says camping stay maximum is 14 days. It was peaceful and quite, but our last few days we had some high winds rocking the trailer. We felt safe enough to leave our trailer while exploring Zion and going to the local laundromat. Definitely recommend!

I was disappointed I couldn’t camp on the creek because there were three massive trailers that were spaced far enough apart that no one could park between them and they had parked their tow vehicle in the neighboring spots so they pretty much took up the entire space. Then there were hammocks reserving four spots towards the end that no one ever came and stayed at as far as I could tell. But, you can’t really get any sun for your solar panels Creekside so it turned out for the best. I parked closer to the road in a flat sandy area with lots of greenery surrounding and it was private and pretty nice. The first night I was startled when cattle came through my spot to graze and I wasn’t expecting it but after two nights they didn’t come through again. It was easy to get into the creek and look at beautiful rocks and crawdads and cool off when I wanted, and it was a very short drive to the national park whenever I wanted. I felt like my stuff is pretty safe there. There is virtually no Verizon service even though it showed two bars but the T-Mobile service was good enough that I could teach English online every day I was there. Loud generators… All day and all night… By the people who are hogging the Creekside.
