If you want a riverside site, they are not available to book several months in advance because they can’t predict Mississippi flooding. They can only be booked a few weeks in advance. This wasn’t explained to us when we booked which led to some confusion when we arrived.
Verizon: ranged from 25 to less than 1 mbps down
AT&T: ranged between 10 and 2 mbps

OK park that was clean and on the river. Nothing special. We had a spot with a pull through concrete pad on the river so it was a bit more expensive. Basically a big open area on the Mississippi flood plane. The town/area outside the park is a dump. Could not even find a grocery store. We stayed 1 nights and everything was fine. The barges do make a bit of noise, but nothing major.

Nice quiet campground with river view on the mississippi river. Friendly folks, clean sites, free laundry. Full hookup for 40 bucks. Exactly 15 min drive to convention center in downtown memphis. Campground is next to a oil refinery, but you never notice it. Fun watching the tug boats and barges up and down the river day and night.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the beginning of March and it was beautiful. Amazing weather, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! The sites are concrete pad and angled so no one has a blocked view which we thought was fantastic. There are sites off the water with more trees, all sites are a decent size. You do have to keep an eye on the flood stage, while we were here the river was very high. Watching these enormous barges go up and down the river is fascinating! Keep in mind, they go all day and night so you will hear them at night. We would stay here again if coming through the area.

Tom Sawyer did not disappoint. While the drive to the RV park is a little sketchy, once you get in it’s a great little park. The road in/out is a bit rough, but no worse than lots of parks. Our timing (Monday) was a bit off to visit some of the sites we intended, but the National Civil Rights Museum filled an afternoon and the Peabody Hotel lobby was well worth a walk around. We imagined Beal Street rocks later in the day.

We followed the website instructions to the park, as recommended. There were signs to the park that were very helpful especially as we got close. Due to COVID there was contactless check in and per email we picked up our envelope and headed to pull through site 54 with FHUs. We received the major TV channels through our OTA antenna plus a clear shot to the Southern sky for our satellite. We also got 3 to 4 bars on Verizon and the park Wifi was average. One of this park's perks is a nice sized laundry room near the office that was FREE. There were also two smaller and also free laundry rooms in each campground area. Tom Sawyer is one of our favorite campgrounds (CG) and we noticed that there had been a few upgrades; another restroom and laundry building added plus refurbished the river view seating outlooks and added more outlooks. Great CG for an overnighter or longer stay to explore Memphis, TN.

Site was an easy leveling exercise. Shower facilities were sufficient. There was a laundry but we didn't use it or check it out. There is a lovely walk along the river, and we really enjoyed watching the barges go up and down the river. We met and chatted with some really interesting folks here.
