Saturdays have food trucks, live music or some other sort of activities going on. Nice dog park & play area within walking distance of your camp site. Man made pond for swimming. Can be picked up & brought back from your site by a tubing company. Nice shops & resturants close to park. Located on Jonesville Greenway for walking trail or bike riding. Staff is on-site and always willing to help.

Riverwalk has quickly become one of our favorite campgrounds. Always a very relaxing time and so much fun, the food trucks are a nice addition to the fun. We enjoy walking the greenway and also love to visit Angry Troll over in Elkin. Highly recommend for families or just a kid free weekend.

Riverwalk is a excellent campground with great owners and camp hosts. They are super friendly and make it enjoyable for everyone in the park. They give 110% to make it fun for people of all ages (pets too). I have camped there every year it has been open and will continue to do so.

A big beautiful privately owned campground and it shows! All new and layout of spaces are really nice. Immaculately maintained with love and attention to both detail and comfort for campers. This place had so many amenities that are unique. Love the swim pond, pavilion with picnic tables and adjacent game area. Small detail but thought it wonderful....hammocks hanging all over the place! We took full advantage of the river front trail, proximity to Elkin, and awesome huge dog park. Cannot forget to mention the added bonus of Saturday food trucks and brews. We were able to overlap our stay for two weekends and both were SO amazing. Great food, drink, music, and Polar Plunge for a good cause. Just goes to show how involved these owners are and how devoted they are to their RV park and the community!

They do have food trucks, live music, corn hole, and other things to do on the weekend. Not to much for little kids to do. If your not into that. RW may not be for you. There is a community park for the kids to play with a community dog park. They do have a man made pound for the kids and dogs to play in. There is some cute stores near by for shopping , butcher shops, local restaurants. Mt. Airy is about 30 minutes away. Wi-Fi is good when park is not full, can be hard sometimes to get on. All site are gravel. Extra parking for other cars. $5 a day for extra parking pass. Definitely bring rain boots on rainy days. Can get muddy. Prices for sites have increased since last year. Now normal rates are Signature Site:
$80 per night Standard Site: $65 per night

It’s a pretty steep road going in so make sure you have the capacity to pull your rig back out. But if you do have an issue, staff is there to help.

The only challenge was entering the park in a big rig towing, we were surprised by the short but steep hill turning down into the campground. It is doable, but be aware.
The river walk is lovely and the dog park (which appears to be provided by the campground owners for the general community) was large and clean.
Overall we liked this place and will stay here again for sure!
