“Nice park and location for getting around Lake Tahoe”

Reviewed Nov 09, 2017

Overall Rating

Stayed here while visiting Lake Tahoe area for the week just before Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately some of their services were not available even though your daily fee is supposed to cover it like the trolley into town and the pool and hot tub. So that was a downer. Sites were pretty nice; however instead of spreading you out t... more

We stayed here in October and there were plenty of empty spaces. We were able to get a 50amp, full hookup site with DirecTV satellite access thru the tall trees. We loved our visit to Lake Tahoe but found the area to be very expensive and, even in the 'shoulder season' between summer boating and winter skiiing, we found it very, ... more

Stayed here for 2 weeks to visit our son; CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND. PROS: FHU, have to request a 50 amp site. I made my reservation months in advance online, would not guarantee a site #, even after I called a week ahead to confirm. Arrived to a 30 amp site that was too tight, had to go back & complain to get moved to a 50... more

By far one of the grossest campgrounds we have been in a looooong time. Dirt in every corner of the buildings. The bathrooms are absolutely filthy, hair and dirt clumped in corners are around each shower stall. I checked multiple days in a row to see if they were cleaned: nope. Water barely warm. Food in the bathroom sinks. We woul... more

We were looking for a place to relax for a while and the Lake Tahoe area seemed like a good choice. We settled on this park, based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The park is a bit of a mish mash of sites, some with 50 amp, some only 30 amp, some have sewer and some don't. You can find the hookups you want, you just need to be cl... more
