There are plenty of spots to choose from just about a quarter mile in off the main hi-way. Spur roads are easy driving with good clearance. Verizon cell signal was two bars at best. Worked fine for Netflix streaming and very slow internet. Calls and texting was fine. I'd highly recommend this location.

We have stayed here before and it is a great location for visiting the Grand Canyon. We found a spot that was able to fit 2 44' fifth wheels. Sun was good for our solar. Road was very dusty and a few people think of it as a race track. Very little signal from ATT or T-Mobile. We used our Starlink. There are multiple places to stay along the road and some that are deeper into the forest.
Beware, the hunters have made some significant ruts and mud holes so. go slow. They have also left behind a number of elk bones in the area.

It's a quiet location and we weren't bothered by any vehicle sounds.

Nice spot to camp close to Grand Canyon for free in a peaceful location. The spot we chose was wooded but not dense with a well used stone fire pit. Some snow melt and mud but road in was good and there were about 6 others camping in nearby spots. Saw wild horses when we left. No AT&T.

I stayed here for ten days and enjoyed my time here. Beautiful area and many places to park. I stayed about a mile and a 1/2 in. although the road went back much further. Passing my site where many class A motorhomes with towed vehicles so there must be several pullthru sites further as mine was. There is some traffic on the road but not bad. Great place to stay if you are visiting the Grand Canyon. Lots of elk in the area, and you can hear them at night, which was cool. I would definitely stay here as it was a great experience. It's very safe for a solo traveler too.
Cell service was really bad and I had to READ books.

Our first time boondocking on BLM land. Very surprising and awesome way to camp in between our travels. This is only about 5 miles to the Grand canyon South Entrance. Careful with big Rigs. Some tight squeeze's. We're in a 40 foot Motorhome with Toad.

We went about a mile in to a spot where we could get Starlink. It is a large open area and there were already some rigs and a couple construction vehicles (storage?) Anyway we decide to go ahead and use the spot. There was plenty of room. The group was quiet and the construction vehicles never moved. We wanted easy access to the park so decided not to go further in. There are lots of spots for all sizes of rigs…only a few that you can get clear view of north sky. E-biked all of the rim of the Canyon and it was great!
