"Quiet, Large sites"

active staractive staractive staractive staractive star
This is a no frills park. It is quiet in the middle of nowhere—but close to Capitol Reef NP. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. After dealing with loud and crazy crowds at multiple KOAs, this was exactly what we were looking for. The sites are huge! We have a 38 foot bumper pull and fit easily with room to spare. We were far from our...

"GOOD BASE FOR EXPLORING THE NP's!"

{Dates Stayed: May 14-21, 2024}Very nice park, convenient to town and another ‘jump-off’ stay for Utah’s National Parks. Some improvements were obvious especially the bathhouse/laundry. Probably one of the nicest showers we’ve ever used. Sites were gravel with back-in & pull-throughs. Entrance is right off the busy highway and a bit steep with...

Fortunately, we weren’t planning on ‘hanging out’ at our camper, instead we had a few more NP’s to explore. Payment was cash only and through a chainsaw-cut slit in the door to the unoccupied office. Met a...

"30 DEGREES COOLER AND A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD!"

active staractive staractive staractive starinactive star
This was our first stay at this location and we are still newbies, so keep that in mind. The RV space we rented was large, did not feel crowded. Hookups were handy and in good shape. The staff were not the friendliest. They sent us to the wrong site # initially, didn't explain wi-fi or access to the bathrooms and showers. The locks on the...
