Beautiful park.
No hookups no dump available.
Enjoyed the river .
Very loud train, but worth it for us to enjoy the area.
Dogs off leash, so be aware.

We were on the river and went tubing and swimming every day. We got a first come/ first serve site. Hosts we're super friendly. Campground was quiet, well spaced and spacious. Views were majestic! Water, trash and fire wood.

This was a great spot, would have stayed longer if we had time. We were in the pull through RV sites, site #5. Right on the River, next to the boat/swimming access area. The site was level and there was plenty of room for our 35’ Class A + tow vehicle. At this site the highway noise wasn’t much of an issue but during the night when the train went by and blew it’s horn it woke us up. Maybe you’d get used to it after a few nights…but it was LOUD. The vault toilets were spotless and the entire campground was beautiful. We swam in the river which was the perfect temperature for this time of year. We had a decent cell signal with AT&T and Verizon. Price paid is with Asenior Pass discount, actually $7.50/night.

We pulled in while traveling through on Friday of labor day weekend. RVs all over the highway, but this place still had 5 open RV sites at 5pm. Most did fill up. Trains did come through the town across the river and have to blow their horn for a crossing. It's the loudest train whistle we've ever slept next to but didn't wake our 4 kids.
Camp host was super nice. Simple payment drop box like you would expect from a forest service campground.
Most sites had big rigs. Our 40ft bumper pull fit nicely.

Lots of float tubers and paddle boards navigating the river provided some entertainment. A weeknight and maybe 20% of the sites were occupied. We were worried about I-90 road noise, but during the night it wasn't a problem. However, the Choo-Choo on the other side of the river was sleep depriving with 5 trains passing and whistling through during the night. We chalked it up as another streaming experience....

Easy to find and smooth roads. Pull through 4 is to tight for long rigs if 7 is filled you might be stuck between trees. Fortunately for me 7 was empty or I would have been trying to back out of a tight spot.
Road noise is present but not terrible.

RV section of campground has long pull throughs. Some not real level but workable. Site 7 had a very long pull through (my rig is a 36' RV with tow vehicle and had plenty of room). A tight turn through the trees at one point but managed okay. The "tent" loop can also be used by RV's and some sites are very large and generally level. Did have an issue with barking dogs but camp host tended to it. Good folks. Even had free firewood, 5 pieces per night per site. Although was stinking hot and no fire was needed or wanted. Lots of trees. No cell service. Easy to access from I-90. Did get interstate noise but not that noticeable at night, traffic isn't that heavy. The train passed by a number of time and felt need to blow their horn, even though they are on the opposite side of the Clark Fork River. Go figure.
