Was directed here after scoping out another river access campground closer to town (which was very crowded and tight for our 32’ TT). Dirt road into campground with 9 open, easily accessible, and fairly level dirt/gravel/grass sites right on the...
We are Elks members so sought out this lodge, which also allows non-Elk members to camp for $35/night ($30 for Elks). Check in/pay at bar, which opens at 4 pm. We arrived on mid-day on a Friday when they were still installing all new electrical...
Love that this dump is free and easily accessible whether coming into town or leaving. Located on the edge of the gas station very near the diesel pumps so if you're towing a large rig you could block entrance/exit of the diesel pumps. No signage...
Would have given it 3 stars had it not been for location and price. Very convenient to all Helena has to offer (we needed new tires and a Costco run) and it’s capitol building/cathedral. Electric only (not all sites have 50 amp) but water is...

Needed a place to stay while we explored Little Bighorn Battlefield. Our rate reflects Escapees discount.
Pros: great WiFi, nice clean showers/restrooms/laundry room, fairly level sites with grass and large trees on some sites (but not all),...
Can’t add much more from what others have said except don’t be afraid to come thinking you won’t find a site. We arrived at 1 pm on a Friday in mid-July and maybe 1/4 of the sites were taken. The campground did not fill up Friday night but did...
A fellow camper told us about the dump here and it was a great experience. It is in the back of the store next to the highway and you enter from the east (left) side of the building (there are signs directing you but you can't see if from the...
Rustic location very convenient to all the sites in the area. Beautiful grass/tree setting with lots of property to walk and enjoy the scenery. Far enough off the road to provide peace and quiet. Gary is super nice and helpful escorting to sites....
Got an “overflow” gravel site mostly level the day before arrival on a weekend in late June. Our site had no hookups but other overflow sites have water and sewer, so generators could be heard. Quiet at night and close to area sites/towns, which...
