One of only 2 dump stations we could find heading north on 395 from I-15 (the other is at Arco further south but more expensive). There are 2 dumps but you are trapped from exiting forward in one if a larger rig is dumping at the other (see pic)....
Called and was told their dump is closed on Sunday, open Mon-Sat during business hours (8-5) so we did not stop as it was Sunday. Was also told cost is $20 (sales dept).
Only used their dump after the Maverick down the street was closed for the winter in mid-October. Awkward entry if sites are full as you must swing wide to pull in next to the building. We were lucky the sites were empty so we made a straight in...
stopped here to dump on a beautiful fall day in mid-October and sign said closed for winter and there was a lock and no hose. Went inside to confirm and yes closed’
First come first serve and we got the last 2 sites when we arrived about 1 on a Friday afternoon. Our fire pit had lots of trash, which we cleaned up before we left. Sign at the entrance all weekend said campground full despite about 6 sites in...
We have been coming here for years and it’s a favorite! Large open areas for groups or single sites tucked into the trees for privacy. Most sites are to the right (east) once in the area. All size rigs will fit and most places to park are fairly...
Was directed here after scoping out another river access campground closer to town (which was very crowded and tight for our 32’ TT). Dirt road into campground with 9 open, easily accessible, and fairly level dirt/gravel/grass sites right on the...
We are Elks members so sought out this lodge, which also allows non-Elk members to camp for $35/night ($30 for Elks). Check in/pay at bar, which opens at 4 pm. We arrived on mid-day on a Friday when they were still installing all new electrical...
Love that this dump is free and easily accessible whether coming into town or leaving. Located on the edge of the gas station very near the diesel pumps so if you're towing a large rig you could block entrance/exit of the diesel pumps. No signage...
Would have given it 3 stars had it not been for location and price. Very convenient to all Helena has to offer (we needed new tires and a Costco run) and it’s capitol building/cathedral. Electric only (not all sites have 50 amp) but water is...
