Pulled into site 21 and we were hanging out into the “lane” and our truck was nearly on top of the trailer in front of us. After calling back and looking at other options (first row sites 1-6 are bigger pull thrus but power wasn’t working) owner said pick any of the sites 16-21 (never found a 16) so we moved to 18 but still had to back out to leave in the morning as a class A parked next to us when we arrived so he was blocking our “exit”.
Several permanent residents and old vehicles around but never felt unsafe. Train across the street only came through a few times and highway was a just a hum.

The campground was clean, the spots level, and perfect for an overnight. Yes, you could hear the highway and the trains, but they both go straight through town. I don't think you could avoid this at any of the rv spots in town. We turned our white noise on high and slept like babies.
We would stay here again for sure. Support this new owner he seemed like a great guy.

Owner purchased this property three months ago. He is retired border patrol. I wasn’t sure when I called the campground that I had reached Oasis as he answers with ‘hello.’ He must live off property as he has us call 10 minutes before we arrived so he could meet us. All this was a little off putting at first but once we arrived and met him all was well. The park is old and needs some updating but then the same thing could be said of me. ;) The grounds are very clean with some full timers but absolutely no junk or trash laying around anywhere. We had full hookups and a pull through that was very level. You can hear some traffic noise from the interstate but I sleep with a fan on and heard nothing. The park also felt very safe. Never saw one scumbag. :) We stayed overnight for one night in a 38 ft motorhome towing. We would definitely come here again. The park wasn’t listed on Passport America but when I asked he gave me their price. I paid $27.

Okay for a stop over. Full hookups. Forget about the rest of the amenities listed. Park may have been nice at one time but now in total disrepair and upkeep.

Had a reservation today but when we arrived and I looked at the park and all the junk cars, as well as the run down buildings decided to go elsewhere. Do not recommend this park for even an overnight! Not sure how they can ask $40 a night!

This park is really dirty, with a few full-timers. The spots are hard to desinate between the road and the space since the same gravel is used; they are also pretty short. I have a 29' Class A and had to park my car on the side of my RV and hope no one claims the next spot. Also the ground is covered with spiky grass, it looks like needles when you pull it out of your foot. My dog won't walk on the grass so I have to carry him to the road. The picnic table is completly a waste of space, there's no way even a child could use it, it's a rickety mess. The electric box had switches for 20, 30 and 50 amp but the circuit breakers were disconnected into the box and difficult to turn on/off. The 30 amp plug was burned out and the ceramic was broken, it worked ok though but it looked dangerous.
There is a single dumpster that's close and there are bathrooms but I haven't ventured into them. The office has several little dogs that alert the owner to someone coming in but I don't enjoy having them surround and bark at me.
The location is practically at the I-10 highway entrance so it's noisy but unless there's something strange it's tollerable.
Try another place.
