Can we expect to be able to fill our water in our trailer with a water spigot here before parking in our spot?

Great clean place with beautiful roomy sites. We had both 12 and 15. Both exceptional. I think I liked 15 a little better. Host come by often to make sure things are ok. Very quiet and a lake nearby. Love it here-was very relaxful and chill.

Potable water spigot with threads on left side opposite bulletin boards as you come into the CG. Other water spigots (no threads) scattered around the CG. No dump and Verizon was stronger in the front sites than in back. Restrooms were okay.
We paid $10 with senior pass and no reservation fee on Recreation.gov
Some sites can accommodate longer RVs but probably no more than 36’-38’. We were in a 35’ 5th wheel and one of the largest RVs in the CG.

Had fun fishing in martis creek lake all by myself most mornings.
Airport noise can be heard every now and then.
Smoke cleared out on our second day with a cold front that came through. Highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s

Overall this is a pretty good spot with an amazing location to Truckee and quick drive down to Lake Tahoe. Kings Beach and Tahoe City are very close. We stayed in site 10 and after looking around the campground I think 10 is the best and 11 a close second. Great views and farthest from the airport. Yes, it’s right next to the airport and why I gave it 4 stars. I work remotely and if you need to stay at the campground during the day it is very loud. Lots of plane traffic. At night it dies down and then you get train traffic in the distance but it’s not bad. If you plan on being out and exploring during the day I highly recommend this spot. If you need to work and be on calls it’s not the best due to airport. Or when I stayed anyway.

There are bear boxes at each campsite and also bear poles for hanging food. There are fire rings and also bbqs at each campsite. The whole area was tidy! The bathrooms were very clean. It was quiet - only a few other campers. I believe there are 24 sites, including the tent sites. I would imagine this campground fills up pretty fast in the summer. It was May when we camped here and lightly snowing.
There is an airport nearby and heard one small jet engine aircraft take off in the morning.

We stayed here to be close to Truckee and we're not disappointed. The camp host was friendly, the ground squirrels were fun to watch, the small lake was great for my little ones to toss rocks into, and it is shaded! There are pull through spots with nice views, but we made a reservation last minute and the only site open was #1. It wasn't a great spot, but even being right at the entrance, it was quiet. The only loud noise was the airplanes flying during the day because the campground is next to the airport.
Would recommend and stay again.
