Over the air channels are pretty sketchy but the Wi-Fi is ok, not the fastest but sufficed for what we needed. I got quarters at the office for the laundry, which was clean including the machines(so refreshing to find). Our lot was level. The shower house and bathroom are separated rooms which were also very clean. First time here we will return so we have time to see the painted Churches.

Stayed here one night so we could see the historic painted churches. Very friendly staff (owners?) escorted us to our pull-thru site near the pond. Level gravel sites but close together and lots of trees to negotiate. Staff provided great recommendations in town. A bit pricey but they do offer Good Sam and Escapees discounts so that helped. Laundry on-site but didn’t use. Many “residents” in park but clean and quiet, except for the nearby train on occasion.

We stayed as a stopover on a long drive. Kind people in the office, respectful neighbors, full hookups. There are probably cheaper options but this one felt safe and accessible. The driveway can be a bit tight and there are trees you have to be aware of.

We called and reserved a spot in case we needed to evacuate during Hurricane Delta. We did not have to leave so I can’t speak to the park itself but the people we spoke with over the phone could not have been more helpful. They will be my first call next time we have to evacuate.

There are some full time residents, but the sites are all well maintained. As mentioned before, there is a Dairy Queen within walking distance. The Mexican Restaurant across the street offers a discount if you show your RV park receipt. Interstate 10 is a short distance away making this a convenient stop for passers by.
Noise is low, sites are a little short and narrow, but they’ll work for most rigs.

Looked like a few long term residents with space a little tight, but we were able to manage. Nice open field to let dog run and play. Office recommended Lucy’s Mexican restaurant across street and it was great. A bank with ATM and Dairy Queen next door for convenience. Drove our toad a mile into town and found package store as well other restock items. Pilot fuel station at the exit where RV park was, made it easy to refuel next day on way out. A good place to overnight for us.

Our visit to this park was totally unexpected! Our tow vehicle died halfway between Schulenburge and La Grange. A two truck pulled us into town and dropped our trailer at this great little park then dropped our truck off at the local Ford dealer.
We were plesently suprised by how friendly everyone was and especially happy about how well run the park is.
Public showers with lots of hot water and super clean laundry facilities were a wonderful extra in our frustrating time.
