Didn’t stay here as there was already a large rig parked with several dogs. Space could fit 2, maybe 3 RVs but only if you’re all buddies! Also, very busy road and wind direction had dust blow straight into site. We stayed further up on FR272.

Pulled in just before a Colorado spring snow. Great views of the mountains being taken by the clouds.
Very level and easy to back in with our 5th wheel. Not very private but hard packed ground is good before a storm.
Perfect for Starlink and solar. Great Verizon and AT&T

This little patch of BLM doesn't seem like much but it has the best Verizon download speed in the Buena Vista area. It is also a convenient stay if one wants sweeping views of the mountains, but also fast access to town. The county road to access this site is well maintained and easy for any vehicle. This little patch of BLM doesn't seem like much but it has the best Verizon download speed in the Buena Vista area. It is also a convenient stay if one wants sweeping views of the mountains, but also fast access to town.
The county road to access this site is well maintained and easy for any vehicle. The site its self is level and large enough for even big rigs to turn around. If you need solar this is the perfect place for it.
The downsides of this site is its location directly off the main entrance to the Brown's Creek area, so traffic can be heavy at times and it is heavily used by a herd of cows.
The site receives 4 to 5 bars of Verizon 4G with 90 megabit download and 30 megabit upload.
