"Free dump with fill up. "

Kind of tight quarters because of the location of dumpsters... Scope it out first! We wound up here because the Exxon in Driggs 10 miles north is no longer a dump station.

"No longer a dump station!"

It's padlocked and attendant says it's no longer available. Water is available however., wouldn't trust potability

"Equestrian - oriented campground"

Nice, slightly nicer than typical national forest campground. Exceptionally clean vault toilets, all but empty on a Sunday in the middle of August. Sites are easy to get into. Much better than campgrounds inside national park. There are also many... Read more

"Beautiful location on a quiet lake next to Medicine Bow Rail Trail"

Great location but somewhat neglected national forest campground. We didn't stay overnight but would return next time we are in the area. Perfect lake for fishing, paddle board or kayak. Walking trail goes around the lake. 3 or 4 vault toilets at... Read more

"Stunning location with military sound track"

Great trails, deluxe restrooms, highly developed campsites. Colorado park system seems to pride itself on how much it can "improve" nature, and then be quite happy to charge accordingly. Personally I'd prefer fewer curbs, concrete, and signage... Read more

"Little-known gem of a utility park"

"Generous site size and great location in the Steens Mountains "

"Sweet and small campground in a picturesque aspen grove"

We were one of two campers here on June 12, 2018. There are only 6 spots, and vehicles that are long and must be level may have a challenge. Each site has a cast concrete picnic table and fire ring. Sites 1 and 2 are closest to the very clean... Read more
