This place tended to fill up by mid afternoon. We got here earlier and found a nice site. The campground is in a beautiful spot. The river, the hiking and the beach are all great. We were surprised how windy it was down in Glen Canyon.

These people don’t deserve the nature they should be in a RV Park & drive here for the day. Think of your neighbors & wildlife

This is a very crowded, cramped little parking lot that everyone packs into - camping in trailers, tents, or their cars. People were very rude. No close walking distance to the water. Very pricey for staying in a crowded parking lot!

Absolutely stay here if you get the chance! I stumbled upon this spot on my way to Antelope from Grand Canyon, and boy am I glad I did! It is $20 nightly for regular or $10 discounted senior pass. Heads up: you do have to pay to enter this park as well. I was able to get in with my Nat Park Pass

We stayed here in a 43-foot MH. I know it says Max length 30 feet but we had ample room. Within a couple of hours drive to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. We drove into Page and Antelope Canyon.

We stayed here in early June 2019 while on our first Arizona road trip. Situated in the beautiful Marble Canyon, this campground is serene and away from the busy tourism Arizona is known for - probably due to its being off the beaten path (at least that was the case when we stayed). The road in is paved with little traffic - great for riding our bikes to explore the spectacular surroundings. The campsites are gravel, quite level, and roomy.

There is a dumpstation down the street, and water available to fill up with.
Showers available at the laundry mat and post office at the Lodge down the road. Quarter operated. Wish we had known about the showers as we had only seen the sign about the showers as we were leaving.
We had a backhaul service take us up riover and drop us at 10 mile camp and we paddled down back to lees ferry and had a great paddle trip.
The wind, it comes up suddenly if there is a wind advisory. Make sure you check wind advisory sites as we watch one RV lose their awning and damage their rig with 40 mph winds. Then there's the dist that goes along with it. like sandblasting. It's ok to hunker down, but we left a day early as we sat through one of those wind storms already and decided against it again.

Once in a site, the place is great. You're in a canyon along the Colorado river. You can go down to the beach of the Colorado, hike, etc. Night sky is great once all the campers shut outdoor lights off.

Originally planned on staying here a couple of nights. We extended it to 10 nights because we loved it so much. The views of the red rocks are amazing. The trick here is to get here before noon. Each day 5-8 sites are vacated but they fill up usually by 1300. If you dont get a site there is boondocking just 5 miles or so down the road off 89A. Just come back the next day and grab a site. There is water available and the rv dump is just down the road at ranger station.
I subtracted 1 star due to the bathroom situation. One of the 2 bathrooms was closed, and the other was slightly disgusting.
There is a camp host who checks the site tags every morning, and the rangers will drive by every so often.
The best views are in the lower half of the campground. Cell service is better in the upper zone though.

We arrived at Lees Ferry Campground early afternoon mid week and there were about a dozen sites still available. By 7PM the campground was filled up. Many campers stay one night as this is a popular put in spot for floaters on the Colorado River. The main road is paved and each site is graveled. There are 51 sights in all, varying in size to accommodate small trailers to motorcoaches. All sights have a picnic table with shade covering plus a firepit. There is potable water available. Sights are an adequate size to provide some privacy. The campsite has 2 flush bathrooms however, only one was open. It was fairly clean when we arrived but was pretty dirty after a couple of days. Toilets were in poor working order and needed to be fidgeted with in order to get them to flush. The dump station, located about half a mile away, is in a large gravel lot with an easy turn around. It was still winterized when we visited. A big plus for this campground is the scenery. It is spectacular! We managed to go on 2 hikes, Cathedral Wash (3 miles RT) and Spencer Trail( 4.5 miles RT). Both were great hikes! The fruit trees at the Lonely Dell Ranch were just starting to bloom. When fruit is ripe, campers are allowed to pick and eat. We did view two Condors on the Navajo Bridge just down the road.
