So the wife and I we have a conversion man and we were camping on Mount Hermon she had a bad feeling so we decided to leave and go to Cheyenne mountain campground got there got the last site with the most beautiful view you pull up with your van you plug everything in there's a couple steps down to the seating area with a fireplace in the benches and then it has a 15x15 site with automatic anchors already there so you don't have to struggle to put your post in your spikes the view at night was gorgeous I The view during the daytime was pretty but night time the whole springs is lit up you can see everything great place to go specially if you're going to go hang out the Cheyenne zoo

This was one of the best State Parks we have stayed at. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Didn’t like having to pay $1.00 for a 4 minute shower. Nice trails, however, they seemed more for mountain biking than hiking.

Double check when booking. Prices are increased, now $41. Also need a state park pass or day fee. They really enforce it! There is a host, but the rangers run the place and are on it. Not very friendly or helpful either. Only reason for the loss of a star. Hook ups are very nice. Super clean and new looking everywhere. Bathrooms and showers are great. Laundry is good and fair prices. The park itself isn’t amazing, but nice. Disc golf course was a fun surprise. 6:30am weekdays, you can wake up to reveille played on load speakers at Fort Carson. I loved it.

Site #45 & 46 are for ADA and are closest to the bathrooms and parking lot. Because hardly anyone was there we stayed in #45. It was quiet and peaceful. Just know that sites 47 & 48 are further away from the parking lot and up gravel stairs. They looked lovely and peaceful but if you have a lot of stuff to pack in it could be a workout as there is no parking next to your site. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, one shower is available. $1.00 for 4 minutes. I would definitely stay there again!

Well designed park with beautiful views and deluxe hook ups. Each sight even has a bonus water spigot. Just a few trails that allow dogs, but plenty to keep our furry friends happy. Close to town for anything you need plus restaurants. We did Garden of the Gods and drove to Pikes Peak while we were in the area- highly recommend both of these! There is a bit of road noise, but the views and quality of this park more than make up for it. Super friendly and helpful staff!

This is one of the best designed parks we have ever been to. In fact, it’s nicer than many of the pricey “resorts” we have stayed in. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate in any size rig. We were in Gobbler Grove Loop site 17. We had beautiful long views of the city below. The sites are huge with paved parking pads, crushed stone patios edged with timber, picnic table and fire pit. Grass around the patio is mowed, the rest is natural vegetation. We had full hookups, no issues with utilities and no problem getting level. Our site was full sun but other sites had mature trees for shade. There is no WiFi, but our T-mobile signal was strong so we used our hot spot. The park is easily accessible from the highway, but the sites are well into the park so there is no road noise, just peace and quiet. The hiking trails are really well maintained. Clean laundry with 3 washers and 3 dryers and a large folding table. There are plenty of tourist attractions within a short drive, and Colorado Springs has everything you may need for shopping, dining, and RV maintenance. We stayed 2 weeks and still didn’t get to everything on our “to do” list. We’ll come back to this park for sure.
