Staff are super wonderful - friendly, helpful, and always available. Fairgrounds are just over the fence and concerts go until 10 pm. Music gets a bit loud between 8-10 but they shut it down right at 10 pm so not bad. Park is dark and quiet at night, slept with windows open every night.
Their WiFi worked great our whole stay.

This RV park is next to an events grounds. It was built in the year of 2000, according to the staff, and is both well-maintained with extremely level pads and provides a good amount of space between rigs. It appears that even the larger rigs have enough pull through sites to make parking easy. It has all the required amenities of electric, water and sewer per site. It also has tent camping available.
Reservations should be made online prior to visiting. The office closes fairly early and may necessitate you calling ahead particularly if you need to obtain the code to use the restroom facilities. The restrooms and showers appear clean and plentiful. While we were there I only saw two other people utilizing these facilities and so there always seems to be availability, including handicapped accessible toilet and shower combination.
We came during the Fourth of July and saw fireworks from the grounds. Of note, the fireworks can be seen the best from the east side of the park facing the large open field. I would recommend setting up your chairs there if seeing fireworks is important to you. I did not investigate the Wi-Fi strength but cell phone service from Verizon is quite good.

The spaces are close but not as bad as some. The park is basically unattented due to staffing issues. No one was in the office for our 3 days. 16 miles from Bend so good place to explore from.

We arrived at Expo Center RVP on June 3, 2021. Unable to find an affordable park in Bend, our target destination, we found Expo Center RVP in nearby Redmond. A very utilitarian facility, i.e. only the bare essentials, without frills or amenities. Which, I suppose, goes along with its main mission: to accommodate attendees at the Dechutes County Fair & Expo Center. For us, day-tripping to see the many wonderful sights of central Oregon, it was perfect: level pad, water, electric, sewer. Nothing more.

The Expo Center offers a very practical camping experience- various sizes of pull-through and back-in sites, all relatively level, paved, and FHU in a parking lot type setting. This isn’t what most people look forward to when they think of camping, with nearly no privacy or greenery, but it’s a good location for getting around to see the surrounding area. There is a nearby train, Redmond airport up the road, and they were doing construction and road work next door during our stay, nothing terrible but expect some noise consistently. We tried to sleep with the windows open once, and it was intolerable and instead used our sound machine every night. Generally the park often felt very busy with RVs and vehicles always coming or going, and the Expo Center events did create more of that (the dog show was probably the most chaotic week during our stay).
Our utilities worked fine, and I appreciated that there was plenty of space to walk our dog. Bathroom and laundry are available, but we didn’t use either. There is no WiFi or cable, but our Verizon service worked well without the booster. This was one of the few times in our 3+ years of travel that we needed early check-in, and they weren’t terribly accommodating.
We stayed here because it’s the crazy-busy tourist season for Bend (which is 20-30 minutes away depending where you are headed), and for this trip the location was more important than the CG scenery/feel. Bottom line: this CG is pricey at $38 (30 amp)/ $42 (50 amp) plus a 10.5% tax for what it is, but we would stay here again.

Hwy 97 through town had extremely heavy traffic in the afternoons.

Nice park, very easy to back into the spot with our 30’ class C. Spots were pretty level. WiFi was advertised online when booking, and when we pulled up, there was a sign with no wifi available. Restrooms were closed as well. Mostly quiet, but when we stayed they were doing road construction right behind our spot.

Sites are weird lengths, and in a really compressed footprint. so I recommend driving through it once if you are able to select one that works. Our sewer port was out front (our trailer uses a port in the rear). Very little space to park our tow vehicle, No shade. Advertised price for a 30 amp site is $38, but add the reservation fee and room tax for an additional $7 a night. 50 amp sites are about $10 more. That being said, this is a good choice for an overnight or two if you need hookups and convention to access to central Oregon.

Google directions are wrong, use 19th Court. We’re in a truck camper so having the bathrooms only available 9-4pm meant we had to break camp and head out as soon as the coffee was made. It was clean and simple, but really best for an RV where you plan to have everything inside.
