Stayed here as a last resort. Not very well kept. Sites were rough! We were just glad to find a spot to spend the night!

Nice, slightly nicer than typical national forest campground. Exceptionally clean vault toilets, all but empty on a Sunday in the middle of August. Sites are easy to get into. Much better than campgrounds inside national park. There are also many nice boondocking options along the Buffalo River Rd.

Turpin meadow has a variety of campsites for both large, medium, and small rigs. A water faucet exists for filling up as well as a couple of pit toilets. It's a ten mile drive to the CG on a paved road. Several years back when we visited, the road was in pretty bad shape, but it's been repaved and nice.

Sites are well spaced and most have plenty of room. Amenities include picnic tables, firerings, faucets spaced throughout campground, and vaulted toilets. There was a beautiful stream and a view of the Tetons at the turn off to the camp. Sites in the back have a view of the surrounding mountains. Host was very courteous and friendly. 15 min from Grand Teton Nat'l Park on narrow curvy paved rd. less than a 1/4 mile of dirt at campground. We were fortunate to see a Grizzly on our way to the camp. Great spot to avoid the crowded camps in the park.
