"Beautiful nature preserve "

No RVs. Tents only. Nice to not be surrounded by monster RVs. Lots of hiking and biking. Roads are dirt but not to bad for our road bikes. Moody sites are on a river and are very separated. Only porta let’s but if you walk a short distant to the... Read more

"Great trails "

The campground is just so-so. Some sites are small and some are very large. We stayed in a tent only site. It was small but fine. The biggest negative is the traffic noise. It is constant. The huge plus is the system of hiking/biking trails. These... Read more

"Gold standard of parks"

This park is a gem. It is in a 1500 acre preserve and is fantastic. One huge plus is their no pet policy, YAY. The sites are huge and level with lots of shade. Restrooms are spotless. Deer and cranes walking through are fun. Raccoons are fearless.... Read more

"OK"

Sites are willy nilly over a small expanse of ground. Lots of boats launching to a pretty lake so part of the land is boat and trailer parking. Manager is uptight but does keep the restrooms clean.

"Lovely campground "

One of the prettiest campgrounds we’ve found. Each site is nestled into a private setting of palmetto and palm trees. Most sites do not have electric. Water is nearby along the drive. Each site has a fire ring and a concrete table. 30 sites total.... Read more

"Just ok. "

Strange layout. Few sites with electric. Too expensive for no hookups. Only one restroom and it is at the far end. Very little shade. Some traffic noise from 95.

"Extreme traffic noise"

Mostly for RV’s but there is a small area for tents. We set up our tent although our van is set up with a bed. The South side of the campground is close to Route 27 with lots of heavy truck traffic. At night the noise was unbearable. The RV sites... Read more

"Nice but....."

It’s a pretty campground with 16 sites. We are van campers so we had no problem fitting into a site. Some sites are bigger and easier to fit into. Every site is shaded. As the weather got hotter, the bugs got worse. Pit toilet that wasn’t bad. Not... Read more

"Overpriced "

Nice campground spread over a large area. RV sites are in an open area. P1-4 have electric and water and are in a fairly private area with shade but get roadway and rail noise. Some tent sites on the river. We have gotten sites in nicer parks for... Read more

"A gem"

We came for one night and it is now our third. This park is lovely with 24 sites. Some with electric for $32. The park managers now live here full time and go over and above to make your stay wonderful. Most sites have large live oak trees for... Read more
