Very nice family atmosphere park. Grassy sites, Water and 30 amp. Picnic table snd fire ring. Most sites fairly level. We have a 35 ft class A with toad. Campsites are scattered so look for the electrical poles. Beautiful lake. Bath house clean and busy! Well maintained. Busy on weekends

Sites are willy nilly over a small expanse of ground. Lots of boats launching to a pretty lake so part of the land is boat and trailer parking. Manager is uptight but does keep the restrooms clean.

I’ve been here several times now, and likely stayed close to a week, combined. It’s an excellent spot to tuck in for a few days. Campground host is friendly and professional, the campground is kept very clean, the [men’s] bathroom & showers are always immaculate and smell of fresh cleaning products daily. Just pull in, pick a site, and the host will eventually come greet you and check you in.
There’s a dump station on the left upon entering, as well as a dumpster. Sites each have electric & water. The water has a faint bit of a sulfur smell to it but the water lines where being worked on as I was leaving the last time, so that may not still be the case.
Beautiful views and easy access to the lake.
There’s a boat launch right there too! That’s both a blessing and a curse though - it’s easy to put in if you’d like BUT that also means people are launching their airboats pre-dawn (despite signs saying “No Airboats!”). Those things sound like a helicopter 50 feet away from you, so be aware you may awake startled in the dark. The Host makes an effort to keep airboats out, which is probably why they launch in the early hours while everyone is asleep.
It’s more or less a large open manicured park, with trees interspersed. There’s plenty of choice between shade or direct light, depending on your preference. The sites are pull through, which I also find quite convenient. Getting in and out is a cinch.
This is an inviting location, and a great use of $20 if you need to rest up for a day while on the road. I go out of my way to swing by there when I’m passing through.
No reservations, it’s first come first served, but I’ve yet to even see it at half-capacity all winter.

We stumbled upon this park after being turned away from the local state park because we hadn’t made a reservation 😞 and chose a same day camping trip. However, so glad we did. Beautiful lake views, awesome camp host, Dave, and the grounds were clean and freshly mowed. Bathhouse was clean and updated. Such peace and quiet out here.
