I love this place. Especially for the price. Amazing views, very quiet and peaceful.
Great pull through spots and plenty of places to find wood for your campfire.
I would plan on using your rig for the bathroom and shower - they really aren’t maintained well.

Easy to find. Beautiful sites on Lake Talquin. Park also used for boat launches. If it had been warmer we would have stayed longer. Restrooms were ok and did have a shower. Sites had w/e, table, grill and fire ring. Some sites had a balcony/patio on the lake shore.

What a lovely spot! So gorgeous with the surrounding lake!
And what a peaceful campground, not busy, we were 5 at the most.
Few people came to land their boat. A bit more came to enjoy the park on weekend, but not too crowded.
Easily accessible. But be sure to get there before 7pm if you don't have the code for the gate as it closes by itself at that time. We almost had it closing just right infront of us while trying to understand how the payment was supposed to be made.
They have the envelope way of doing payments and you can do for more then a night. Actually, they also take reservations but don't make you pay for it in advance, just when you're on site.🤨
The bathhouses need a little refreshing, but correctly clean.
The camp host wasn't there, but there was a maintenance host.

There are bathrooms and hot showers, and they're clean, but the doors are open so bugs do get in. When we were here the bugs weren't bad at all though.
The pictures are very accurate.
This place is about 25 minutes from Tallahassee, and has good cell coverage. It's very quiet and peaceful!

Beautiful little park tucked away on the lake. Every site had a nice view of the lake. Bathrooms were clean (although wet floors) and hot showers. Only wish we would have had a boat with us.

This is a typical rural County Park- no frills, price is right, but a great location. Right on Talquin Lake. Needs a bit of TLC and maintenance but it is certainly fine if you aren’t looking for the highest quality in terms of amenities. Electric hookups, dump station and hot showers. We have seen better and we have seen worse. For us this fit the bill for the few days we needed. If you are a fisherman or a boater, canoe or kayaker it’s a great spot. Sites 4 or 5 right on Talquin Lake are the primo sites. Several nice fishing piers, boat docks, and a playground for kids. This park is used fairly heavily by locals. During our stay in February it was very quiet with just 4 other campers. I can’t speak for weekends but I assume it would be busier. There are no hiking trails or bicycling areas but we would camp here again just for the lakefront tranquillity.
