“Cute Lil camp spot!!”

It’s not very big, but it’s definitely cute! Camp host was very friendly, they have to volunteers living on the campgrounds. They have showers & bathrooms! Also, they allow horses & pets. Fire pit & picnic benches at every spot. Not too far from town, but secluded enough! Our spot was very secluded & had TONS of room. Could easily have two -three tents per spot. Plus somewhere to put a hammock & clothes line.

“Great place. Would be booked solid if it had electric!”

Fun mountain biking, hiking, and horse trails. A day use area just outside the gate for folks with horses. Quiet after generator hours (hence the 3 stars). Pet friendly. A great place to camp until it gets hot here in FL. No electricity at any sites (water hookup only) which makes it miserable when the temperature gets much above 80 outside and creates excessive noise during generator hours. I really like this site, but you won't find me here between May and November. Due to the lack of power, some folks feel the need to run their generators from 7:59am - 10:01pm (ok, maybe my clock was a minute off); not kidding - two folks during my last stay did exactly that, and the temperature was perfect at 78/57.

TURN. OFF. YOUR. LIGHTS. (not just this campsite, but all campsites). Hey, my trailer looks cute with my LEDs lit up as well. However, I assure you that NOTHING is more bothersome than having someone shine their lights the entire night. Most of us go out of the city for quiet and darkness. I'd love to be able to sleep with my shades and windows open and not have a kaleidoscope on my ceiling all night! TURN THEM OFF!!!
