The electric sites are on the east entrance closer to the lake and road, hence more noise, but that didn't bother us. The west entrance non-electric section is huge and basic but well treed. Few campers there in early June as the sites are very...
Well kept campground. Showers are ok but you literally have to firmly push a button the entire time for water to flow. A limitation unless you are strong fingered and nimble. Campsites nice and well spread out. Conveniently close to interstate exit.
If you stay here get a site on the outside of the loop, or the lakeside. The park has sardined sites into the inside of each loop making for conflicts with noisy yapping dogs, music & trying to relax within ear & eyeshot of your neighbors. We will...
Not much to brag or complain about here. Campground is nice if you get a site with shade, bugs can be an issue. Trails can be steep, hairpinny & angular. Restrooms were fine.
My experience with campendium reviews is that I generally agree with my fellow reviewers. This campground is a huge exception, to the point that I am wondering if the only review before mine was completely contrived. It began with a lame park...
Agree with other reviews about campsites. Quiet and nice level sites. Bike trails were not as flowy as I love, but enjoyed them. The double black diamond trails are truly only for bikers who know what they are doing. High risk for reward.
Based on comments we expected a campground. There is not one!
Hedges planted for privacy between sites, which hummingbirds love. Walk to uncrowded rugged beach for sunset or beachcombing, which can only be accessed from park. Friendly, accomodating staff and hosts. Showers clean. Excellent value at $17....
Well spaced sites along beautiful lake which has a wonderful paved 11 mile bike path around it. Shower houses can be far, far away from your site, something to keep in mind. I was irritated that fee info failed to acknowledge 3 dollar mandatory...
57 bucks, by far the most we have ever paid, and not worth 35. For that you get very friendly staff, nice store, new common area and proximity to Mt St Helens. But you also get loads of goose poop, could not walk dog easily. Small but adequate...
