This is a great site for big rigs. We had no trouble getting our 36ft fifth wheel to the site. Close to the main road but not too close. Convenient to most of the park. Be aware that as of Jan 1st the back country sites like this one must be reserved though Recreation.gov.

You have to visit the Panther Junction Visitor Center to reserve one of the more remote sites. Some of the sites will accommodate an RV and some won't. Hannold Draw is a primitive backcountry camping permit site. $12 total for your stay. Acquire permit only at Panther Junction visitor center. Then they provide directions. Site off main road to Marathon, near Panther Jct so very central to day trip within the park. Located descretely behind maintenance yard near old corral. For sight s... more
