It is now part of the “RV Inn Style Resorts” chain. While the sites and setting are pretty nice the facilities are minimal. Very few bathrooms and showers; each bathroom is single person with a shower which we didn’t use during our stay.
Since it’s on the bank of a shallow lake with a lot of waterfowl there is goose poop everywhere.
It is a very convenient location to explore Mt. Saint Helens.
We had good cell/Internet service with AT&T; ~20 MB up and down.

57 bucks, by far the most we have ever paid, and not worth 35. For that you get very friendly staff, nice store, new common area and proximity to Mt St Helens. But you also get loads of goose poop, could not walk dog easily. Small but adequate laundry with lending library. Sites totally open and fish bowl feeling, especially where we were placed, on end with road on both sides and around end of us. The most disappointing, puzzling amd just plain wierd thing was the brand new bathroom attached to new community center. Two toilets, zero door locks and zero coat/purse hooks. One shower in bathroom, no privacy door!!! So you open main entrance door and look directly into shower! So if someone is trying to come out of shower to grab their towel... .you may have 5 children (who are in there with Mom brushing their teeth), looking up and staring at you, like I did. AWKWARD!

We stayed here two nights as we were making our way down from the San Juan Islands area. We booked this location due to our very positive experience at Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, CA since the owners are the same. It was a little farther from Interstate 5 than we had planned (about 20 minutes east). We had a back-in site on Silver Lake. After parking we had to avoid the geese droppings, and there was a ton of them. The sites were nice and fairly level. We had to do laundry when we arrived and found the laundry to be somewhat small for the size of the park. The laundry facilities were in a modular/trailer. Not the best laundry but sufficient enough for us to get clothes clean. This park is within an hour of Mt. St. Helens. Also, if you are a fisherman, I think this would make the park much more desirable. We saw a couple campers with boats right out in front of their trailer.
