“Awesome campground!”

Reviewed Sep 18, 2018

Overall Rating

This is an amazing, free (with Discover Pass) campground. It's small - I think only 10ish spots - but the sites are large. We easily fit our 27' travel trailer and F-150 into our site with room to spare. The sites are in the woods with tress between most for privacy. There's a pit toilet to use if you're tent/car camping or wanti... more

I stayed in space #7, which was next to (line of sight blocked) the pit toilet. The spot was clean and well-kept, and the pit toilet was stocked most of the time! I fit a 4 door Jeep and 12 foot trailer with plenty of room to spare. Far enough away from civilization but close enough to restock (about 25 mins to Forks). There is a littl... more

“Small park near the national park”

Reviewed Aug 27, 2018

Overall Rating

This tiny, no-frills, free campground (with Discover Pass) makes a great base camp for exploring the rainforest and coast region of Olympic National Park. Located only a 25-minute drive from the Hoh Visitor Center, or a 40-minute drive to 2nd and Ruby Beaches, it's a good alternative to trying for a spot in the busy FCFS national park ... more

“Amazing”

Reviewed Aug 21, 2018

Small campground with HUGE sites. Site 3 is enormous and pretty darn level. 3 bars of straightalk. Walking distance to small convent store. The mossy trees area amazing. Little bit of traffic noise during the day but very quiet at night. Traffic noise wasn't horrible.

Such a great find. Quiet campground with just 8 spots. There were a few we could have easily fit into with our 32 ft TT. Campground only half full when we arrived on a Wednesday around 4pm but filled up that night. Verizon and T-mobile coverage were both excellent. Free campground with discover pass. We just purchased the pass on our p... more

8 sites in mossy rainforest. Scored one. Worth a try, short drive thru loop from Hoh rainforest rd. Check tags as 2 sites were empty but tags still up on posts. Vault toilet. No water. Free with $30/Yr. Discover Pass.

“Didn't want to leave!”

We arrived on a Saturday evening and luckily, there was one site available-the handicap accessible space which is open to anyone after 6pm. We spent our first night in that space but didn't unhitch. The next morning we moved to site 1 which was large and easy for our 34 foot fifth wheel. There are 9 sites and our rig could have fit ... more

I agree with all the other reviews. Just want to add that I had no issues streaming netflix, etc using Verizon and/or my ATT Mobley. I rarely stay where this is not possible. Small, quaint, picturesque sort-of free campground! (Have to have the Washington $30 discovery pass.)
