The restrooms were very clean. The showers weren't cold or hot, but did the job. It was a quarter for 2 minutes.
The Verizon and ATT service were good enough to stream and have video calls.

We camped at Walmart and came back the next day to hluckily find someone leaving around 10am and took the only spot. There is really only 3-4 good spots for Solar so you will most likely need a generator unless you get the good spots.
Great campsite, so many little trails and stuff to explore.

We got lucky the next morning and when searching for a better spot in the daylight, the nice gal in spot 8 told us she was leaving and we could have this spot. It’s the best spot in the park, directly on the bluffs. Front row seats for the sunset every night and the sound of the ocean waves below!
Very clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of space between sites.

The Good: Lots of shade, probably not great if you depend on solar. I parked my rig at a trail head in full sun for a couple hours while I hiked and had no issue. Some sites do get more sun that others at certain times of the day. While fairly close together, the sites are mostly very private due to foliage. Typical picnic table and fire ring at each site. My site (#28) was fairly level. Bathrooms, showers, garbage bins and water scattered around the park. BR’s were clean, didn’t check out the showers, but I believe they take quarters. No hookups, dry camping only.
The Bad: $26 for out of county people. For a dry camping site. I think that’s exorbitant, but it seems camping is becoming a rich mans sport. I wasn’t able to hike down to the Spit because no dogs are allowed. This isn’t mentioned anywhere on the campground site or in the park until you get to the actual trailhead with Fido on the leash. Since it was so hot when I was there, I didn’t want to leave the dog in the rig while I went splashing in the cool water. Had I know this before hand, I would have camped elsewhere. I hate to think they don’t mention this on the website because they know most dog owners will look elsewhere, but I’m pretty sure that’s the case. The trail hiking is not very extensive as this is a fairly small plot of land, so if you can’t get down to the spit, you could hike every trail in a single afternoon. And then press repeat, I guess...
Don’t think I’d camp here again due to cost and “no dogs allowed” policy. Of note, there is NO OTHER WAY to get down to the water. The campground is high on a bluff and the only trail down doesn’t allow dogs...bummer.

This was a great campsite and definitely going to be one of my favorites! Plenty of spots pulling in at noon on a Sunday - this place is huge! Beautiful views of the mountains and water. Only giving 4 stars because the bathroom was out of order and the sites didn't have much privacy from each other. Other than that it was perfect!

There is a beautiful bluff trail to watch glorious sunsets. The trail to Dungeness spit was split into a loop trail to allow social distancing which I appreciated. The beach and spit were incredible. No pets allowed at the beach unfortunately. There are spots here to fit any size rig. It was super quiet and clean during our stay. Lots of good bird watching.

Dark, drippy and no views from campground. No hook-ups. There is a Dump station, but no potable water available. If I had it to do over I would have stayed at Walmart and saved the $26.00 .
