Passing through and called ahead for availability. One pull-thru FHU/50amp available. Gravel site was good, level with concrete patio/chairs and fire pit. Shower/toilets clean. Some full-timers but overall an easy access off I-80 without traffic...
Stayed through a weekend with FHU/50 amp, but cable box not the best connection and most fire rings at other sites are set away from center of site closer to driveway which is strange. Sites could use some general maintenance. Could hear Friday...
Limited easy access for 38’ rig to get to Hot Springs unless you come South from Asheville on I-26 or North on I-40. Either way, Hwy 25 is safest access otherwise you’re driving on switchbacks and steep grades. Check-in we had to drive across...
We stayed to be close to Nantahala Rafting excursion. Good access road. FHU but only 30A power which was no problem. Very nice owner (Joe) and spacious site for our 38’ Class A. Fantastic Trout pond onsite to catch and Kobe will even clean them...
Stayed in FHU with 50amp service back-in site. Well shaded by trees, paved access, friendly office staff. Easy for pets to play and run. No issues with 38’ Class A w/toad. Lots of activities available although we mainly visited for Oktoberfest in...
A journey driving through West Virginia mountains and tunnels, but what a great location above 3200’ for this Park. We caught the fall foliage which offered stunning views and some colder temps at night, but the sites are well spaced apart. We had...
We booked online for 4 nights and totally enjoyed the State Park in the fall although day temps were abnormally warm, the nights were excellent to sit by the campfire. We arrived during the week day and hardly anyone around. Check-in staff were...
Arrived June 20 and stayed one night. Would have loved to stay longer. Very quiet and spacious. Deer came close at night. FHU with 50a great. No problems for big rigs.
I’m surprised others haven’t written a review. We arrived June 21-22 and only stayed two nights. Spacious sites, close to marina/boat launch. Fire pits and trees around. FHU and 50a power. A good drive from main highway but nice drive around lake.
Arrived June 17-19 for two nights. Staff friendly, pull-thru with FHU sites spacious. Real close to Boot Hill Casino and close to downtown museums and restaurants.
