"Good place to stop for a month due to the COVID 19 pandemic"

We had originally planned to camp at Sand Hollow SP but when Utah closed their state parks to non-county residents due to the pandemic we had to find alternate plans. We decided to stop for a month and see what progressed with the pandemic. Rate... Read more

"Easy one night stop"

The Cottonwood campground is a very simple on/off freeway which means, yes, you have freeway noise. But at least you're not camped in a concrete or gravel parking lot. There are walking paths so you can stretch your legs after a long travel... Read more

"Inexpensive, nice location but slow connectivity"

Like others said, it was definitely a no frills campground. The patio slab for each RV was pretty narrow, but the time our slide was out, there wasn't much room for our chairs. First place we've ever stayed where electricity was charged for a... Read more

"Good location for exploring San Diego"

We enjoyed our stay here, our site was very long so lots of room for our truck and RV. Kind of a strange approach to the park through a neighborhood that has signs indicating trucks over 7000 lbs not allowed. Doesn't seem to apply to RVs. Pros... Read more

"Noisy and administration is lacking"

We had a reservation and arrived after the hour was closed, someone, an obvious long term resident was in our site. Went to the office and saw that there was someone still there even though the gate was locked so knocked on a window and the ranger... Read more

"Good overnight stop"

This was a very clean RV park with easy access off I-5. $35/night is very reasonable for California and we were thankful to have 50 AMP hookups due to high temperatures. Some noise from I-5 but not terrible.

"Gracious campground staff - good stopover location"

We hadn't planned to stop here but ended up here after a wheel bearing failure and having to wait for Lippert to manufacture a replacement axle. The office manager, Sheila and the employee Mark were both very kind and gracious. They continued to... Read more

"Good location for National Park / Monuments"

Pleasant place to stay and have time to visit Crater Lake NP and Newberry Volcanic Monument. Come well stocked, closet grocery store is 30 minutes away. This park is off Hwy 97 so you do get some highway noise, but unlike many of the RV... Read more

"Good stopover on the Columbia Gorge"

Train and highway noises are pretty much inevitable along this section of the Gorge. Sites were a mixed bag here, some very small, some very spacious. Lots of fishing, family activities, noise, etc. That said, sites backing up to the River... Read more

"Good stopover"

We stopped here because we wanted to visit the Ginko Petrified Forest. Now that we've done that, I doubt we'll ever stop again. We reserved a 50 amp spot but the 50 amp wasn't working, no response from maintenance when the camp host called so... Read more
