When we arrived I noticed that a few people had pet fences up and I was going to put ours up and read the back of the map for the rules and noticed it said pet fencing was not aloud, so I called the office and she said no they don’t allow them, I told her that I’ve seen 2 so far that had them up, she was going to send the host to tell them to take them down, apparently they didn’t care they left them up anyway, I emailed the office and she said that the old owners told them they could have them hmm well then why can’t I put mine up? Seriously, rules should apply to everyone or don’t have rules!!! Staff was friendly that’s the only positive thing I can say, they advertise river but you can’t even go down to the river. Also they cram you in there there is hardly a place for a table and you can honestly reach out your window and touch the person next to you. There are a few other really nice places right near them that I would definitely recommend over this place. Also WiFi? Ha absolutely no service.

What a great experience. This is among the absolute best RV Parks we have had the pleasure to stay in. We were met upon our arrival by the owner/host who gave us detailed information and then escorted us to our spot. He could not have been more pleasant. This park is well off the highway (no noise) and right on the river - beautiful views. It is secure with a gated entry. It has all the amenities of a first rate RV park. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. If you are visiting the Redwoods in an RV, this is the place to be.

Stopped in for a one night camp. Clean park, managed well, friendly. Will mark this for our next trip to the coast. It is a turn off from the 101, making it a quiet, tree surrounded retreat, on the river.

This is an excellent spot to use as a launch point for visits to the Redwood national and state parks. The northern most section of the parks is just past Crescent City, and the southernmost is just north of Eureka, and Klamath sits slightly north of the mid-point.
The campground itself is positioned along the Klamath River and is far enough inland to have the summer fog burn off around 10 am and have it return again overnight, keeping the campground cool but not dreary. The host and the site minders are fantastic - very friendly, and happy to point out some of the local points of interest (and the points of interest to steer away from).
Sites are close together on a grassy field, but the noise level is hushed. Shared fire pits by the river (with nearby hoses for an "oops" moment) are lovely.
We stayed here in July, 2023, and parked our class A facing the river, resulting in lovely views at bedtime and in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!
