"Beautiful Site, beautiful campground, no cell service"

We were in site 36, near the Group Camping area - although there was no one in the group camp. This made for a lovely experience with a spacious, lovely site which was near the trail to the Giant Spruce. Our site would accommodate a 60+ ft RV,... Read more

"Pleasant little park"

Honor system pay, $6 in state, $11 out of state. Pit toilets, Creek running around the park. Finding it was a little unnerving - south on Gillette St. becomes a winding creekside road until you finally see a sign. Left over the bridge and down... Read more

"Tiny sites & freeway noise"

We have never before stayed where the sites were smaller than these. If we would have sat at our picnic table, we would have had to be careful to not hit our head on our neighbor's extended slide. On the positive side, it is close to I-35 and... Read more

"Beautiful place"

We dry camped here as a jumping off point for Silver City and Gila Cliff Dwellings. The Campground was fantastic and we should have allowed more time to investigate this place itself! The dry camping sites are intermingled with the huge rocks.... Read more

The campground was clean with excellent facilities including a covered picnic table. Views of Cochiti Lake are wonderful. It was only 5 miles to Tent Rocks National Monument -- the canyon trail hike there is one of the best we have ever taken. ... Read more

"Beautiful Red Rock views"

We stayed in a larger site on the east side of Loy Butte Road (FR525). Being somewhat familiar with the area, we came in from Dry Creek Road in Sedona because we knew we wanted to be at the North end of the road. Either way is going to require... Read more

"Beautiful site"

This was a one night visit as we traveled through the area, but we would definitely go back. We took the road off to the right, just past the "Old Cemetery" -- GPS: 34.188691, -112.852888. Beautiful site, beautiful views, working Verizon... Read more

"Beautiful spot by the lake"

Mittry Lake is about 2 miles of washboard gravel road away from paved roads. Taking it slow, we had no problem with our 38' 5th wheel. There are many spots on can choose from -- several right along the lake with fishing jettys and palm trees.... Read more
