“Nice park if your in the right loop!”

Reviewed May 19, 2018

Overall Rating

Juniper loop must be the old park, it’s very run down, very limited water access and actually the water coming out of the few spigots that work were full of sediment. We stayed in buffalo grove loop with a travel trailer. The campsites in all loops except juniper were very nice and mostly level with some privacy and plenty of space bet... more

Reviewed May 16, 2018

Price is with senior pass. Convenient stop on our annual sojourn North. Juniper loop has W/E on inside loop, outside loop is only E. Some sites require 75' water hose. Even Google 3D doesn't do justice to the hilly terrain. We are literally backed into the hillside - check site length before reserving (great for wind protection and ... more

“A Great Camp close to The Most Spectacular National Monument you Never Heard of!”

Reviewed May 12, 2018

This campground is a gem! We initially planned on staying five nights, but wound up staying ten. The camp is on Indian land and is managed jointly by the federal government and the local Cochiti tribe. There are lots of sites available, layed out on an interconnected network of paved roads and named loops. We stayed on the ‘Ringtai... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in late-March with our family plus dog. $20/ night for water and electric hookups. Great views, sunrises, and sunsets. from site 61 in the Buffalo Grove loop. The site was level, and had a nice covered cement patio. Overall the campground was clean. One mess in the women’s bathroom one morning, but it w... more

“For late March it was packed!”

Reviewed Mar 31, 2018

This campground has something for just about every type of camper. Conspicuously it must be on the Class A must visit location list because there were dozens of them in the park. We arrived on Thursday and nearly every site with hookups was occupied. That was ok with us as we wanted a dry camping spot. We initially set up in the Elk... more

“Campground open seasonally ”

Husband and I drove up here hoping to spend the night first week of January. The campground looked really great, but unfortunately was closed for the season. It was nice enough from the outside that I’d come back when open.
