This is a good utility overnight stay. Longer if you are just looking for a place to relax with good facilities. Clean and flat. However, there is little privacy between spaces; as in none. This is a good utility overnight stay. Longer if you are just looking for a place to relax with good facilities. Clean and flat.
However, there is little privacy between spaces; as in none. There's not much to do except hike... to no particular destination. Not scenic. Thus, there's no reason to stay here as a destination. However, it's good for a re-set or re-organize location between other more desirable spots if none of the more popular campgrounds in the area are available. All sites are level with easy access.

Had a good night stay in march. It’s close to the road but didn’t hear much traffic at night. The shower was good. The rangers are nice.

Stayed overnight to get a jump on all the crowds coming in for “Superbloom” of wild flowers. Canyon trail with plenty of blooms right across the street. 12 cabins, 14 asphalt spots with fire pit, and concrete picnic tables w/cover. 22 ft or less, class B or small trailer/teardrop. Fairly level, no hookups, clean restrooms, token machin... more

“Between the road and the highway”

We did not stay here, the sites were too small. Also, this campground is located along Route 78 at the point where Yaqui Pass Road meets it. During the day when we were checking it out, it had a fair amount of traffic noise.
