"Ok Spot For An Overnight"

Just off a fairly busy road. Lots of cars coming in and out, just before dark, possibly to checkout the river. There is a dumpster, picnic tables and fire rings but no porta potty

Nice, clean campground on the Mississippi River. Not very crowded on a mid-April weekend. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are clean and hot.

A nice quiet stay. Lots of options for camping from full hook ups to dry camping. My site was lakeside. Not very crowded on a weekday in April.

I enjoyed my afternoon and night here. Only a few other campers when I arrived early afternoon on a Tuesday. Filled up quite a bit in the evening. Bathrooms were clean but very rough. Didn’t try the showers but looked iffy.

"Ok For A Quick Overnight "

This was an ok spot. Bathrooms still locked in early April and porta potty was pretty gross. Lots of little trash around. It was noisy with lots of lights. On the positive, it was level, free, not crowded, and the cell service is good!

I arrived around noon in early April and the road down to the lake (and this campground) was closed. Continued on to next campground on the lake.

"Clean, Nice Spot"

I enjoyed my two nights here. Enough space between sites for privacy and easily found a level spot. The pit toilet was clean and stocked. I didn’t get out to explore because of wind and rain / snow.

This was nice, free camping near White Sands NP. Easy access. A bit noisy due to the road nearby and military jets flying over but manageable.
