Park on the side by the auto center. 24 hr walmart was able to stock up on food and supplies. Also a few good restaurants around .

Road is seriously bumpy and washboared the entire way back here but we spotted a few awesome spots to set up that would be secluded. High clearance trailers reccomended.

Very narrow road down to the beach. The day use area is still open with vault toilets etc. We just parked off to the side and not in a site and noone gave us any issues with staying over one night. Perfect spot to stay if your headed up HWY 1 .

The hotel will allow you to stay but take the steps like previous commnets above and regiater the correct way and atleast have dinner here 1 night.

Nice State Park by the ocean and pretty decently priced for being this close to the beach. If i come back i will be sure to reserve as they go day by day unless you reserve online.

I would say this is my favorite spot. Nothing else really needs to be explained other then if your rig is any wider then 7 feet and any longer then 23ft i would not attempt to go down by the river. There is a few other nice pull offs along the way... Read more
