We got here around six and there were plenty of spaces to choose from. Shortly after it filled up. This is dry camping but they have a clean restroom and available water. It will be my go to in this area.

Saw a couple of shooting stars. Hopefully this place stays wonderful and free.

The campground is clean and so quiet, perfect for an over night. There is basically no light pollution so stargazing is phenomenal, like the sky is raining stars on you. There is a short hike to see ruins as an after dinner stroll. All for free! Hoping it stays this nice for as long as possible.

Arrived after sundown, sites still available. Woke in the morning and found a lovely, well maintained campground. Didn’t use facilities but looked to be flushed toilets, door unlocked.
Spectacular views when sun came up.

The place emptied out during the day. Also, we were originally going to stay in Valley of the Gods, but it was 99 degrees there. It was 15 degrees cooler here with the addition of some shade. Highly recommend for a few days just to get away and enjoy the quiet.
