“Beautiful but too small!”

Reviewed Aug 17, 2019

Overall Rating

Believe the signage! The 28’ rig length limit is frankly deceiving. We wanted to stay here in our 29.5’ TT, but it was way too cramped. I think their signage should read, “no rig (truck + trailer) longer than 30’ can fit here.” And, even if we could have found a site large enough, the sites are way too close. But it must be popular b... more

This place was a great find ! I stayed on the back row of the campground which provided a bit of privacy. Bathrooms were clean and toliets flushed ! Provides a great view of sunset. This campsite is first come first serve so if you want a view I would imagine you have to get there somewhat early. No campfires fires here but there is a ... more

The sign says 28’ for a reason! We barely fit in this pull through with our 28’ TT. Some spots would accommodate a back in but you would have to unhook. We first drove through Canyon View which was more scenic, but very tight turns for our trailer and more primitive. Sunset View has all paved roads. Superior bathrooms. A lovely e... more

“Chilly March night but alone in the campground. ”

Spectacular views of the valley. Don’t bring a big rig. There were MAYBE theee or four sites that could take our 25 ft Airstream. Still, nicely paved roads and great amenities w picnic tables and grills.

Can’t argue with free! Flush toilets were a nice change for us since we have only had stinky pit toilets at our past few campgrounds. There are about 8 or so pull-in type sites that are suitable for truck/trailer combos. We stayed in site 10 with our 21 ft truck and 25 ft trailer set-up and fit nicely. Please back into a site if you ha... more

Its about a 15min drive off the main road, just near the visitor centre. Easy drive up for any rig however the sites are only small. 28ft max as per signage. Quite a few double sites. Has flush toilet block, camp kitchen sinks and an area to flush away your dishwashing water. Short walk to the visitor centre for guided tours... more

“Very nice Campground”

Reviewed Jun 14, 2018

Overall Rating

As others have stated, this is a very nice campground that would typically cost at least $20 per day. If they had showers it would be even more amazing. Although most site pads are fairly short, I was able to fit my 35' overall rig in sites 2 and 16. During my stay, 90 percent of the campers arrived early evening and departed early... more

We were here in March 2018 and arrived shortly before dark in snowy weather. The campground was pretty full and as a previous review said, most of the campsites are for tents and small RVs.
