Beautiful area. Nice campground with all the expected Amenities (water, 50A or 30A electric, sewer, clean flush toilets and showers). Very popular campground was full even in mid October. We made reservations months ahead. Sites have enough...
They gave away the site we had reserved 6 months ago(!!!) to a “Long-term resident”. They could have emailed us about the change and given us the choice to stay and choose a new site, or refund our down payment and we’d go elsewhere. Instead...
Sites vary quite a bit in size, ease of access and ease of leveling. Loop roads are narrow with some steep drop offs. OK for tents and small to mid size units. We saw a large unit really have to maneuver just to get around the corners without...
Way better than Gurnsey SP. View of reservoir and surroundings grass-covered hills dotted with pines was pleasant. Grass kept the dust down even though it was windy (...southern WY, ya know...). Glad we snagged an electric site in the Tumbleweeds...
Online campground map is inaccurate so we thought we were reserving a site that would give us some privacy, but ended up in a site with zero privacy. At least we had some shade. Good luck scoring an electric site in the summer, they are...
Free hot showers
Reservable during the summer
Visitor center within walking distance for shuttle service, maps, or free WiFi
Grey water sinks
Flush toilets in all bathrooms
Site A05 had enough...
Granted we were here during the Labor Day weekend which is a holiday weekend in Canada as well as the US. So those 2-3 nights were a zoo. Campground was full, people were celebrating the last weekend of summer, it seemed crowded (sites are fairly...
Very happy with our experience here. Check in and out was quick and easy. Access was also easy. Study the campground map and get a site on the top tier (800’s) facing the outer road (gotta be ready to ‘click’ as SOON as reservations open in...
Huge, well spaced sites in a forest thick with healthy 50 ft tall lodge pole pines. Quiet with very little traffic noise and no trains! Easy access and easy to level, at least in our site). Loops A and B have water and electric. Rate is Canadian...
Pros: easy access if you’re in the area. Nice clean facilities (RR, showers). Full hookups if you need ‘em.
Cons: some sites very unlevel. NO privacy. Lots of Highway noise all night (at least when we were there, beginning of Labor Day weekend.)
