Very Clean New Bathrooms. Lots Of Loud Train Traffic All Night long at one time we both bounced out to bed we were so startled. There was a tiny dog area and then a larger one. The electric seemed stable. The sewer would have required a very long sewer house as it wasn’t placed to have the truck in front of the RV.

Overpriced. No cable. Bathrooms were in poor condition. Train noise. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because of location and level site. Look elsewhere before you choose this KOA.

We had a short stay to recharge between our boondocking stays. Packages/mail are welcome to be sent here. Staff is very friendly, helpful & accommodating. Laundry facility is decent with adequate equipment, $2.00 per machine. The pool area looked decent but does not open until Memorial Day. Out site was a pull-thru with plenty of room for our 45’ DP & tow vehicle. Site is gravel/dirt & had plenty of room between sites, much more than a lot of KOA’s. Valet trash is offered daily.
Noise level was not an issue here. It is located where you can see the traffic on I-70 but not hear it & sits far enough back of the main road that there is very little noise.
The biggest issues with campground is its appearance & cost. The entire facility looks run down & landscaping is poor. Very little grass & a LOT of weeds! It also appears there are several dead trees throughout the park. The sewer connection at our site was not covered & I had to search for it within the weeds. We paid $75 per night. With the condition & location this is more of a $50 per night facility.

2. Utilities were good, no issues and a very long site, all good.
3. Weeds, weeds, weeds everywhere and the sapling trees were barely surviving. Picnic tables were splintered and warped from the sun and in disrepair. The property had so many dead trees in various states of decay, a good wind would snap many of them, hopefully not on your RV.
4. Pool was clean and cool, very refreshing!
5. Children’s playground equipment was something from the 60’s or 70’s, all steel with chipped and peeling paint, I’m sure it would blister if touched in the heat of summer.
6. One camper even had a clothesline out drying all sorts of clothes, etc…..seriously??!….
It was obvious to us the new owners have nothing on their mind other than taking in the site fees, nothing on maintenance and upkeep of the park. Certainly a black eye for KOA.

Sites are really basic, just rocks and a small patch of astroturf. There are a lot of weeds in the rocks on half the park, with the of park being weed free. They were 'mowing' weeds with a trimmer when we were there. The trees are small and newish so not much shade at any site. Nice free pickleball courts.
Green River in general isn't that nice of a town, but is close to a lot of parks and this is a good base camp for going to parks.

Big and roomy spots. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice pool to cool off in. Full hookups was great. The only negative is the train comes through several times a night. If you have your windows open it will wake you with the long loud train whistle.

Trevor was excellent and provided great local experiences and day trips that many out of towners do not get to see. The day trips were really enjoyable and way less busy than the National Parks. Turned out Green River is a perfect central location for Goblin State Park, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, and many local spots.
Overall one of the better KOA experiences I have had.

We were apprehensive about traveling away from our camper while boondocking (newbie paranoia) so stayed here to venture out for the weekend. Between this and boondocking at Klondike Bluffs we would choose boondocking every time. Obviously great for a stopover to have full hookups and clean your tanks but otherwise look at free camping locations in Moab if that’s your destination.
