This place is lovely! I bet it fills up fast in the summer. Big Long spots, we lucked out and got a full hookup spot right on the top with a view of the ocean from the airstream! Bathrooms and showers are really clean and the shower rooms are heated which is awesome for January! Beach is right down the road down a quick trail with amaz... more

This park sits right above beach, nice walk down a couple trails or on the road that takes you to day use park( free) right on beach with restrooms. Very busy at sunset. They are going thru some construction in campground so check to see what loops are open before you go. Right now only a few sites are reservable. The premier sites are... more

“Private Sites and Beautiful Beach”

Reviewed Sep 11, 2017

Overall Rating

Harris Beach State Park is a beautiful place. The campground has a variety of sites (tent camping, yurts, and RV sites with water, electric, and sewer). The most popular sites have oceanfront views, and the back end has some road noise, but there seemed to be no really bad sites. Check in was simple, firewood was available, but give... more

“Amazing Views of the Ocean”

We have camped here several times. There are many places to sit and watch the ocean. Great food and drink in town. It is a small fishing port and always fun to visit.

“Nice Spot, but not cheap.”

Reviewed Jan 03, 2017

We spent 2 nights here. It is a pretty area right in Brookings OR. The campground was fairly full considering how cold it was in December. Nice place that was well taken care of, showers were really quite nice, heated room and all. This place was great except for being kind of expensive, at least to us. At least we were fully plugged i... more

“Beautiful Coast”

Reviewed Jul 18, 2016

Overall Rating

We were only here a couple of nights and didn't get to explore much. The beach was beautiful, our site was a bit tight, and there was a lot of road noise along our edge. Next time, I'll try to book earlier (we grabbed it only a few days ahead) and get a spot away from the road.

There are so many nice things about Harris Beach. The flowers in May were beautiful. It was a short walk to the beach. The sites were clean and tidy.
