"High Traffic Area and Overwhelming Dust"

We picked this BLM area for the proximity for hiking the Colorado Trail. We planned to stay a few days but packed up after one night. This is a small, unlevel, rocky dirt parking lot with heavy use for those that like to camp and 4X4/OHV. The... Read more

"FR248 is back open"

9/16/20 we usually camp here but stayed on FR225 this time because the last review here stated FR248 was closed Due to previous fire. We took a drive to FR248 and saw people camping here so it appears to now be open!

"Delightful little campground but zero Cell"

This was a delightful little first come/first serve campground for $5. Only 19 campsites. Some for tents and some that were suited for larger rigs...Some pull through available. However, sites can be quite unlevel and tight to maneuver. Very clean... Read more

"Decent park but typical tight KOA"

We’ve stayed here on two separate occasions and do not have the same impression as some others. Perhaps it’s where the site is located. There are long term renters with yard spread located on the south side of the park. We were parked on the north... Read more

"Adequate for only campground in Woodland"

Came to Woodland for business. This is a typical fairground campground. Gravel parking lot with full hookups at each site. There is also field parking on the other end with electric and water that no one was using. There is a dump station on that... Read more

"Great free parking but got kicked out after 4 nights"

Stayed here for the Tahoe 100k trail race Sept 2018. It was a great parking lot to overnight in. Super quiet, the PCT within walking distance and a pit toilet. Verizon was a bit spotty and only worked parked at the highest point in the parking... Read more

"Delightful oversized pull-off with enough camping for 10-12"

This is a very nice oversized pull-out with plenty of campsites for tents and large RV’s. It got crowded over the weekend and everyone just picked an abstract spot. There is one site that is right along the creek tucked around back accessed by a... Read more

"Incredible views and close to The Great Sand Dunes"

This is not a free campground. The camp host waved us over and said we had to purchase a Colorado Parks Wildlife SWA Permit for $36 per person over 18. We had other friends staying here that had to do the same. Had to go online to a very laborious... Read more

"Nice free campground but the bugs were relentless "

Stayed here in June. A wonderful free campground right on the reservoir with designated campsites nicely spaced. No hookups. No dump. Easy gravel road with awesome mountain views and no trees. Most campers seemed to be here for the fishing. Trash... Read more
