Springville-Provo KOA

The park was easy to find. It is located just off of I 15 There is pavement all the way including interior roads. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.

Our site, 402, was an asphalt pull thru that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed and wide enough only for the vehicles. We stepped out onto grass. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is close but not too bad for an urban park. Our site has a mimi picnic table and NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park looked neglected. There were dried leaves on the grass etc. This is now February. They should have been raked up long ago. There is plenty of small trash that should have been collected as well.

The park included wifi was hardly usable. There is NO cable TV. We did find a few OTA channels but the reception was very poor. Satellite should not be difficult. We did use the ”Unisex” showers and found them clean and modern but there were problems. One shower had no head and one was impossible to regulate the temp. The others worked fine. Where is the maintenance?

We took pour pup to the dog tun and found that it was a small fenced pen on a slope. There was no grass. It was very unappealing. Our dog walked to the gate and wanted out which is very unusual. She loved to run. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $64.54 (inc tax) per night and we feel it was over priced. We will look elsewhere if in the area again.

We were only there overnight and we did not use the clubhouse or shower facilities. We were there in our 26’ class c. I would not have stayed in anything larger. The streets were narrow, and there was not enough room to park tow vehicles. A bigger rig would really struggle to make the turns. Wi-Fi was free but it was terrible. Our AT&T service was spotty. And the most annoying part was the grass clippings. They had mowed the grass right before we arrived. Clippings were spread all across the pad and everything that touched the ground came inside with grass clippings no matter how hard we tried to keep them out.

Terrible park. Unkept. We stayed 4 days( not by choice) RV next to us had a water leak and was never fixed by maintenance the 4 days we were there. Literally flooded around the RV. Laundry room had a strange smell. Our faucet leaked, told office, no one fixed it the whole time we were there. Many small children running through sites.
Maintenance and management poor.
Upside, the mountains were beautiful.
Will not return.

Stayed one night in this KOA and was sorry. Maybe 10 feet between sites. I had a back in site to get some shade. The sewer connection was at the front of the site so I had to park all the way forward for my hose to reach. The restroom was terrible. Only one of six toilets was not plugged. No toilet paper or soap. Only reason for 2 stars instead of one is because I asked for a shady spot and they gave me one.

We usually boondock but visited this KOA for its laundry and showers.

While the location isn't beautiful and the internet is poor the rest was awesome.

The site were nicely spaced for a KOA and there were a few trees. The laundry room and bathhouse was newly renovated. I took a nice hot shower after a dip in the pool. The laundry had 3 washers and dryers.

The pool was clean and warm and the pool area organized.

Full hookups were nice and the area was quiet as once could expect for the location. Most sites were pull through. The dog park did have a bit of shade.

They do not sell propane but recommended a local business close by with good prices.

I had 1 bar of Verizon 5G, but it didn't act like 5G and we had 2 bars of AT&T 5G. We were unable to use Starlink due to the trees.

We did not check out the showers or bathrooms and that’s why we left 4 stars. Also there is a arcade area for the kids! Nice pool avd clean dig areas.

Our site was on the back row and was a back in. We fit fine but sites are tight IF the campground was full which it was not. When I went to book the site, there were only two available…and there were MANY open sites… so that leads me to believe they do not pack people in.

The staff were friendly avd it’s right across from a liquor store! Lol. We had a very quiet peaceful stay. The only down fall (and this is everywhere for us being from Arizona) is the mosquitoes! Tis the season! Lol

But otherwise can’t agree with the negative reviews. The grounds were clean everywhere we went.

The price should have been our first clue and darn it, I should have checked the satellite images! It’s basically a trailer park and honestly, I don’t think some of the rigs are even able to move any longer. Combine that with kids running around until midnight, making tons of noise (on a Monday night), a train on one side, the freeway on the other, made for a long night. But wait! I didn’t even get to the barking dogs that started at the crack of dawn and having to navigate around poop piles in our sad strip of grass.

The front entrance was pretty and the people who ran it (plus the residents) were extremely friendly, so I will give it that.

Busy campground with a mix of long termers and overnighters. Pull thru spaces were tight. Our site the pavement was nice and smooth and grass green and lush, other sites were not as nice. Amenities were also hit or miss (6 washers and dryers, only 3 working) Short office hours. Bathrooms/showers were cleaned daily (early), but the large number of construction workers, tended to mess them up quickly.

Ok for a quick overnight and I'd stay there for that. Otherwise, I'd look for something else.

One weird occurrence that happened was a trailer was leaving and forgot to take in their awning. As they were travelling down the lane between the pull thrus, the awning hit a Tiffin Allegro bus. It literally took out the drivers side window, glass everywhere. Fortunately no one was hurt.
