AT&T coverage was pretty good, with 2 Bars of 5GE service and speeds up to 8 MB/s. There are no trees in the area, so we were able to receive all 3 SW Dish satellites and Starlink had speeds up to about 7 MB/s. We didn’t try to load any OTA channels.

Fantastic place to camp if you're able to be off grid. Beautiful walks will introduce you to the local wild Burros, coyote and even a local bull (we nicknamed him Bullwinkle). Fantastic place to camp if you're able to be off grid. Beautiful walks will introduce you to the local wild Burros, coyote and even a local bull (we nicknamed him Bullwinkle). Road out to Stewart's Point is doable in just about any rig, but it can be pretty uncomfortable in a larger one. We have a 37' 5th wheel and had to take it really slow - no biggy, but it does take quite awhile to go the 3 mi down to the camping area when you're driving so slow. There is a pit toilet right at the end of the road. You can camp right around there or venture off down the random paths/roads to find somewhere a bit further away. We went about 1/2mi away from the end of the road and had the place mostly to ourselves. We had some super windy days during the 8 days we were there. Check the Windy or MyRadar app to make sure you aren't getting broadsided by some crazy winds. We were able to fill up on fresh water and dump for free at the Echo Bay Campground about 10 miles down the main road. Nearest propane we could find is at the Shell in Moapa Valley. Had no trouble generating plenty of power with 800W of solar, Starlink worked without any delay. Little to no Verizon service.

Take the access road slow and rigs of all sizes can handle it. Plenty of gorgeous views of the lake. Suggest you pull up to the toilet house or a little father next to the short concrete structure (an old well?) and check out potential spots on foot as many some near the edge of cliff are a bit slanted. We enjoyed the burros wandering and braying every evening, saw a fox and a jackrabbit too. Magnificently sunrises and sunsets. Close to Valley of Fire SP which was an awesome day of exploring unbelievable rock formations and petroglyphs and a herd of bighorn sheep! Overton has all u need to resupply. Watch your wind app if you don’t like the wind as it is fierce out here. It comes usually from the S. Very clean and quiet.

Bumpy road to the camp area, but easily accessible even with a big rig. Fantastic views of the surrounding mountains rains and the lake. Plenty of space to spread out. Great place overall, even if you pick a site further inland from the lake (or what’s left of it)

Just gorgeous views. Pretty large camping area. Road is rough but doable in any rig. Some areas need a high clearance vehicle. Can dump and get water at Echo Bay 12 miles south. No services here. Not very busy 2nd week of November. Sunny and about 60 degrees. Great biking and hiking in the area and close to Valley of Fire State Park.

Road in bumpy, however, worth the drive. Beautiful views of the lake. Numerous level sites. Quiet. Not at all crowded.

I loved this spot! The road in was rutted, but anyone can make it down there...just go slowly. Once in, you can get as close to the lake as you feel comfortable with. I loved this spot! The road in was rutted, but anyone can make it down there...just go slowly. Once in, you can get as close to the lake as you feel comfortable with. I had a wheel out of alignment and was on my way to get it repaired, so I stayed up on the ridg a bit. Some cars and vans were right on the water's edge. Some off-roaders, but for the most part it was quiet and everyone was very spaced out. No matter where you park it is an easy walk down to the water's edge. The view is spectacular, the sunsets/sunrises were amazing and I'd have stayed a week except I had an appointment to get my wheel fixed.
Verizon Cell service was good. Easy to watch YouTube and send photos by email.

The road in is a little bumpy but not bad. Plenty of space for large rigs up top vs going down to water.
Views are amazing
Vault toilets at entrance and no trash cans.
Saw several burros.
