They only book for long term stays
This is the closest place to stay near Mendocino with internet, because they offer great WiFi. There is virtually no cell service in the area and only a couple camping options, so Casper is the best option. Full hookups and laundry.
Casper RV park has free WiFi, otherwise I don’t think there is anywhere else close to camp at with cell service. This campground was full so we didn’t stay.
Free public dump. Have tacos or other yummy quality food at Behind the Red Door Eatery! New age spiritual store next door to the laundromat.
We walked in on a Sunday evening and they found us a open spot for the night. We are able to walk over the river, on a foot bridge, to Stout Grove. Camping in/with the redwoods is the best!
There is no cell service in the entire park or even close by, its all forest, but we did find pockets of coverage in this campground (primarily in F and G = East side of the campground in the overlook of Annie Creek)
WiFi at the restaurants is...
Positives: free (no catch), on the river, no reservation needed, in town
Negatives: a train comes every 15 min all night. You can hear security asking people to leave in the middle of the night (They require a self contained bathroom)
When everything else was booked...this park had an opening for us, arriving on a Saturday night/last minute. So nice to be able to walk to town. Yes you are practically touching your neighbors RV and yes the road has a lot of traffic (it’s on...
Private camping on Chimney Rock road, which is West of the air strip, just South of the cabins.
