"Great Stopover"
Not into rockhounding but I’ve overnighted here 5-6 times. A shame you have to reserve now. Clean restrooms, roomy spots, great views and $14 for water/electric? Beats the heck out of the freeway close parking lots in Deming.

Heading back inland from the coast with temps around 100 and needing an overnight place with juice for the A/C. Hey! For my dog, I’m tough! Level asphalt pull through with grass and far enough from the highway to be quiet. Very nice place.

"I love this campground But."
I’ve stayed here 4 times and love the fact that the sites are well spaced and well maintained. One of my favorite places. Close to town, mtb and hiking trails. Sites have water which is unusual in CO. And this year the showers are free!

"Enjoyable spot"
Stayed in #6 in Bear’s Ears. All the electric sites were taken. Peaceful spot with 9 miles of hike/mtb trail right out the door. There is no water or dump station here so plan accordingly.

Nice quiet place to stay with mtb/hiking trails right out the front door. Close to both Cortez and Dolores. Owners Bill and Judy very accommodating.

"Great freebie"
Excellent place for overnight. Away from the big rigs and other campers, but oh yes the trains. Lovely rumbling as they go by. Good news is there are no nearby crossings so there ain’t no horn!
