Maybe it's because of the time of year, or because we came in on a Tuesday about 3:30pm...plenty of sites available for a 58' total length truck and 5th wheel. Most important to us is the 3 bars of ATT 5G. No problem with getting some online photo work done and streaming. Beautiful sunset our first night. Very impressed with how clean the area is!! Will post some photos later.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup. The road and sites were a combination of dirt and gravel. The road has some issues as expected. Particularly the area right after you turn off the highway. It looks like the road is starting to wash out around some rock so it took some sharp turning to avoid seriously tilting the RV. Once I was past that there weren’t any huge issues. Lots of places that a larger rig would fit into. It is totally open and the wind can blow fairly hard at times. It was pretty quiet except for the Friday after Thanksgiving, but even then the ATV’s were far enough away that it wasn’t a bother. There were good diesel and propane prices at the truck stop right along I-5 at the exit. The location made it easy to beat the crowds into Valley of Fire. Connectivity: 3 bars LTE with Verizon, I could stream with no issues. I didn't check for OTA channels. The views at the dispersed area on the other side of the park are better, but if you want to take advantage of anything in Vegas, this is the side to stay on.

There were about 20 other RVs from huge 5th wheels, and airstreams, down to my size and smaller farther down the road so it must be decent. I parked on a remarkably level spot. More level than most campgrounds I've been to. Everyone minded their manors and were quiet. Verizon service was fantastic so I was able to work and stream TV with no issue.

We stayed for 5 nights. We drive a class C 23 ft and were able to find a nice fairly level spot. There are a lot of rocks on the ground and the dust is that red fine stuff that covered the dogs! But the road is doable for most ( saw buses and 30 ft trailers) just go slow.

We stayed four nights. Perfect location for Valley of Fire and even to go to Vegas. Lots of spots along the road to stay. Quiet and dark at night. There were quite a few others camped but plenty of space between. AT&T worked good.

Beautiful mountain views, level sites, nicely spread out, close to Valley of Fire State Park. The entrance is well marked but rough - the rest of the road is easy to navigate. 35ft. Class A.
