We used this as a go between to Vegas in our RTT setup, showed up late at night and went to bed. Woke up to an incredible view, wish I had stayed longer.

“Easy to get to and a great boondocking site ”

Reviewed Apr 01, 2019

Perfect place for our first boondocking experience! We were headed to Zion and wanted a place outside Vegas to stay one night. This spot was perfect. There were about 7 other families there when we arrived but they it was quiet and peaceful. Had we had more time going to Valley of Fire SP would have been a great activity. Next time!

We have started a long adventure around the States, this was our first boondocking experience and it was amazing. The place is beautiful, people are very friendly and if you have children they should be able to have a few new friends here. From small wildlife to cool nights, this was my vision boondocking that was stuck in my head befo... more

“Nice private view from our cul de sac!”

Reviewed Mar 20, 2019

Easy to find after mile marker 6. Lots of sites, although a bit too close for us at the beginning. We drove up 0.8 miles to mounds of gray earth. If you take a right you will find our cul de sac. We easily got in and out with our 38 foot 5th wheel. We walked up the main road from our site and found only one other suitable area ... more

Our 1st experience with Boondocking with no services and it was absolutely wonderful!! Was worried about taking our 41’ 5th wheel off road but our Ford F-350 4x4 handled it with ease! 7 miles off the 15 fwy with fuel, convenience store, diesel, propane and fireworks!Dump station about 3 miles away in Overton. For our first time using Campendium, finding this camping area was primo! Level, decent 4g Verizon signal, fire ring, and gorgeous views of the desert. Can't wait to do more boonsocking!

“Nice spots”

Reviewed Oct 18, 2018

Nice flat spots but the BLM road is very wash boarded, Sandy and rocky. I could only drive 5 mph or less with my 20 foot TT. BLM needs to grade these roads! Otherwise a nice stay.

This is a great location with a ton of flat open spots along the road. I rode my bike up 2.5 mi & there were still available spots. Very quiet with endless views and great cell signal.

Away from LV 45 miles north just before Valley of Fire we found this place. Coming from the I-15 on the right between mile 6 and 7 you find a small gravel road. Drive up 300 yards and the first campsites are there. With our 40 Discovery we did not drive further and took the first one. Good level spot. Noticed one camper further down... more

Good place to stay, near the highway. A bit hard to find, look carefully to find the little road to get there. A bit windy (we were unlucky enough to get the storm) but it’s free and the landscape is very cool!
