This is a surprise park tucked down in a gorge in Twin Falls. Nice, simple, quiet and close to everything. Very nice park to walk along the river and explore. Well maintained and clean. (Didn't go into restrooms though). Good TV reception and wifi coverage. I would definitely stay here again.

The sites are tight like an RV park. The water had a bubbly quality that would spit out of our faucets when hooked up to city water and had our water pump making odd noises after we filled the fresh tank.

We stumbled across this hidden gem thanks to Campendium. We were hesitant at first because of the FCFS policy. We’re embracing our “why not try it” attitude on our current journey and had a couple back ups just in case.
I’ll echo a previous reviewer, if it looks full as you’re pulling in, keep going past the camp host and there’s plenty more sites and several pull throughs.
Water and 30A electric is included in the nightly rate of ONLY $20! Grounds are very well kept and the walking paths and creek running through are added bonuses.
It’s worth a consideration and remember, no matter how unwavering the entrance might be (both from Addison, and as you come down the hill into the park), you can make - we did in our 41 DP towing our 4dr Wrangler.

Hard to beat $20 for W&E hookups. It's a quiet campground. Trashcans all around the park conveniently. The area as you drive up seems a bit run down, but as soon as you get into the park, it's great.
The park has unisex toilets around the grounds that are vault toilets so nothing fancy. Picnic tables, lots of green space around and the trail goes for at least 2 miles round trip.
CELL SERVICE: We work remote - We used out AT&T hotspot and had an awesome connection. Reliable for video calls all week. Gradely harshly, giving 4 out 5, only because they don't have wifi and also ideally would have been nice to have sanitizer (especially this year) in the bathrooms. Everything was was lovely.
GUEST SERVICE: Camphost was super friendly. We came in around 8:30pm on a Monday night with fingers crossed we would find a spot .. and we did with no problem. If it looks full as you enter, keep going past the camphost and you will find the pull thru options. The camp host came over on his gator and shined his lights to help us as we set up. He was very kind.
NEARBY: Close to downtown Twin Falls with some cute coffee shops and breweries. Also about 50 mins away there is a place called Mammoth Cave that might be the most interesting cave experience you ever experience. I highly encourage it.

Western fires and smoke caused a change in our plans which lead us to Twin Falls. With bikes and kayaks in tow we are always interested in places to cycle and paddle safely. Rock Creek RV Park was a great find and value at $20/night with electric and water, and because it does not take reservations it worked great with our change of plans. A county run park, Rock Creek and the small canyon where the park is located is a wonderful oasis in an otherwise plain part of the county. The canyon is lush and green with a variety of trees and plants with a flowing creek running through the middle. There are several pedestrian bridges connecting both sides of the creek and the paved multi-use path across from the campground. They are RV only and have both 30amp and 50amp hookups. There is no dump on site but a free dump is less than a mile down the road. The location is close to the 500' deep Snake River Canyon where we went for wonderful views, waterfalls, kayaking and cycling on the 7 mile long canyon rim trail (see "Traillink.com" for details.). On most calm and clear days visitors can watch base jumping take place from the bridge near the Twin Falls visitors center.

We stayed in the front part right as you turn in. There are also spots that back up against a retaining wall that looked a little sketchy. There are also pull through sites.
The park does get used during the day but it wasn't too bad. The cell service was fine and we had no electrical or water issues.
The camp host was nice and this was a good place for us to set up camp for a week before moving on.
While you are in town be sure to check out the Shoshone Falls, the Perrine Bridge, and the spot where Evel Knievel attempted his famous Snake River Jump!

Closed during winter season, October to April, so in March, we tried to camp here and they were closed. Bummer. We ended up at Cedar Draw Park/Rest Area, easy to pull in, kinda dirty with litter everywhere, but for one night, it worked.
