Have stayed here 4 times, overnights only and can't imagine staying longer unless fishing. Sites are back in and few are really compatible for more than a small trailer or MH and half of these are backwards (patio opposite side of the shelters)...a layout that BLM seems to favor. Sites are back in and few are really compatible for more than a small trailer or MH and half of these are backwards (patio opposite side of the shelters)...a layout that BLM seems to favor. The shelters are newer and nice, but everything else is worn out. There's not been water on any visits.

We loved our stay here...honestly if our travel schedule didn't have us in a hurry we would have like to stay a week. There were several open sites to choose from. Less that would accommodate our 35' TT, but still several easy options with a view. The 7 mile trip from the main highway was an easy paved road and despite raining most of the day we had no issue with the unpaved roads at the campground.
We saw many day users fishing near the boat launch and we hiked across the dam for a little exercise. Really a beautiful area with strong and fast Verizon signal.

Seven (7) miles outside the little town of Rogerson and at the Salmon Falls Dam, this campground has 10 sites, available potable water and a dump site. Located on Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir there is an excellent boat ramp with docks. Camping costs are $5 per night ($2.50 for us elderly with the Golden Age Pass), 14 day limit. This is a BLM facility. Cell service is 3 bars with Verizon. I am writing this in my RV using a wi-fi hotspot.
